Game was not bad only to be ruined by way too much dialogue. it went on and on and on and on!!! Despite liking everything else about this game, I am not sure I will finish. I just keep double clicking my way through this game. shame,
Firstly, well done on latest update. Love the fix for my controller. so much better. Would be nice if you could walk faster. Takes forever to save for scooter and garage and you have to keep going back and forth to town but otherwise am enjoying the game. Get a tourist home as soon as possible as you generate income. i finally got tourists on my beach and hired 2 staff. woohooo
WTH! I have been a loyal fan of Monkey Island and point and clicks are my thing. Well, I was so excited to play this game. Firstly did not like the change in artwork at all but it wasn't a game stopper as I was still keen to play. Tried to get into it and it just didn't have the same feel, it was ok but not great, However, the ending tho??? completely ruined it for me. It was like reading a book to find the ending had been ripped out. what a waste of time
As always graphics are lovely to behold but just as 3 disappointed me so does this. More so. As an avid fan and owner of 100's of old and new adventure point and click games and a Syberia 1 & 2 fan I'm really struggling to finish this. Dammit, I waited sooo long, I had soo much hope........now I just feel mugged. Syberia 1 and 2, which I loved. they were up there with broken sword, runaway, monkey island, critter chronicles and deponia to me. so I forgave them for Syberia 3 and waited for Syberia 4 which was going to be sooo much better right?.........erm No!!!!!!!! What is this? Its sooo slow and dragged out. sooo many cut scens and pathetically basic puzzles. It's mostly just follow the basic instructions. go here. get this and with constant cut scenes in between. Nothing like syberia 1 and 2 other than scenery. No thought process required. And the camera? It doesn't allow ou to look freely around so if going in opp direction just click and hold blindly in the direction and wait until you walk far enough for it to correct the view angle....ssooooooo annoying. I'm not even gonna start on that stupid introspect thing. I have to find a specific somewhere to reflect on my life before I continue? most stupid addition ever... Im going to try and finish but only cos I got mugged of $56.95 Sad to say.... but 100% worst one in the series for me. Rename it a interactive visual novel cos that's what it is really.
This is the 5th non game in my wishlist under the guise of an adventure game...All fur coat and no knickers my mum would call this. Basically means all fluff and no substance...wont be buying after reading reviews. stop putting stories and non games under adventure genre GOG!!!! im deleting half my wish list as i go through the garbage right now. As you can I have been a loyal customer as I love drm free but Im losing confidence in Gogs ability to provide any decent adventure or point and click games. I just wait with baited breath for your sales...now pretty much MEH!! Too much crap in adventure genre. Maybe I should give up and go to steam?
I was going to buy but after reading reviews, no thanks. I'm kinda getting fed up of thinking something is a game to find its an interactive story or a walking sim. This is GOOD OLD GAMES....not storytime. Maybe give them a separate section. I don't want to trawl through a load of crap non games to find a game I like. GOG is going downhill imo

I am enjoying the game story wise but I am starting to feel sick from the controls. Only other game that did this to me was Pine. Controls seems too sensitive and loose. You tend to twirl rather than turn. Holmes keeps blocking your way which starts to get on your nerves after a while. sorry only 2 stars as it really spoils the enjoyment. add the crashes and well...not great
I read the reviews, but I found info online that said that Gog change logs were now the same version as steam now. Nope. doesn't seem that way. I bought the game today and checked the change log (which I could not see until I bought the game). Aug 19 2019 is the last update I can see on Gog. On my partners steam account? updates in April 2020, May, June and the latest on July 30th. Gog users are peeved and rightly so. On the games steam discussion page, Gog users asked when Gog would get their update. The developer, Pathea games responded on 06 May, saying thanks for the information, we will look into that, followed by, our publisher just told us they are doing the test and translation，we hope it can be updated by end of this month. That was nearly 3 months ago now. All I hear are crickets..........
I loved this game in general as I am an avid point and click fan, however I found the mini games absolutely horrid . spoilt the game a bit for me. would have got 5 stars without the minigames
