After playing this game I found it surprising it doesn't have better ratings. I thought it's excellent at what it does. Maybe I was just in the mood for a 2D Doom. I didn't relate to the shortcomings others point out. Gun machine ready :)
This game is great. For a fairly long time, the story developed too slowly for me. But then it hit and I became very emotionally invested til the end. One of the best computer game plots I've experienced. Gameplay is very good too with satisfying powerful spells/moves. Played this game on a different service but I'll probably buy a GOG copy at some point too :)
My favourite game. Infinite possibilities. If you like creating things that require careful planning, it's for you. If you're not looking for a challenge, or thinking much, or physics-based gameplay, or learning in order to make that damn thing work, it's not for you. This game allows unending creativity, but also states some goals to work towards, which is perfect for me. I haven't seen a game combining these two this well. The EULA issue is overblown. They don't collect your information.
