FAR: Lone Sails

I don´t know man

It´s nice an all, but I doubt a lot of people can finish it without looking for a video showing you how to do some thins at some specific parts of the game. And maybe even less people would play it again after finishing it. Its replay value is close to 0. You´ll have plenty fuel to finish the journey, so don´t come expecting a survival/management game because that´s not the case. Can´t even call it a something-simulator since I´m not sure what you´re suppoused to be simulating. Maybe I´m part of those who expected more "game" out of this one. If that´s what you´re looking for, pass.

Alwa's Awakening

Good simple game.

It can definetly pass as a Nintendo game from the late 80s. It´s extremely well done on it´s own simplicity. The only thing that made me wanna quit was that I couldn´t see items on the map for later collection, backtracking gone wrong. But then I remembered there was an "assist mode" back in the main menu and there you get that option and some useful others. Haven´t had a cheap death yet, most of them have been my own fault. So far the game is fair. One thing to mention is that this game doesn´t really keep me entertained for too long. Maybe cause it feels kinda slow comapred to others (which is also part of it´s 80s style I guess). Usually I just play for around 30 min, die a couple of times and leave it for another day. I´m gonna finish it for sure, but maybe it´ll take some weeks. If you like metroidvanias and retro gaming, this is for you.

Brigador: Up-Armored Edition

Got it for free, now i want to pay

Got this game for free on sale, didn´t touch it for months until I watched the review of mandaloregaming. It´s really fun and somehow adictive.... I really hate that I enjoy this free game better than most of the games I actually paid for. Also, there´s tons of content to it and even lore.

Smelter

I hate the wall jump/grab mechanic

It´s simply unpolished and clunky, it makes way to difficult to progress through some stages. Way to many deaths caused by this aspect. Another thing is that checkpoints are not very well distributed, there were so many times I died because of an annoying stage with too many difficult platforming section in which I was sent back almost at the beginning. I just quit playing by the time I reached the laboratories.

Blasphemous Digital Deluxe Edition

I bought a new PC just to play this game

Well, I actually wanted to play a lot of games, but this one was the one that made me say "that´s it, bye bye crappy laptop". I originally bought it on STEAM the same week of its first realese, and it was kind of a dissapointment with clunky controls and too confusing to undersand (I completed it without knowing what was the lore about). But devs have been constantly adding new stuff to it showing all the potential i first saw in the kickstarter trailer. Most of the low rating votes this game has in GOG is because some of the updates and new content were a bit delayed compared to the STEAM version. Try to ignore those, the last update "Stirr of dawn" was added at the same time as the steam version. As of the game, it´s just a very well metroidvania with an incredible pixel art and ost. That´s how simple I can put it withouth being exagerated. It deserves way more attention than it gets.

Dead Cells: The Fatal Seed Bundle

I can see why people like it.

I was just waiting for the DLC to come in GOG and get the game here. Had high expectatives about this game and I wasn´t disappointed at all. I recently got sick of rogue-lite/like games tbh (damn nuclear throne), but this one is totally worth playing. The only thing I didn´t really like was the HUD, pretty generic and confusing as that of most games like this (rogue legacy and death´s gambit are but a few I kin remember right now), so I don´t recommend getting into this game if you´re a bit tired of metroidvanias or roguelites (which might sound obvious, but you´ll be surprised how many times I´ve gotten into a highly rated game only to discover that it ain´t that different from others I´ve played before)

Bad North: Jotunn Edition

A nice replacement for RTS games

Let´s be honest, RTS is dying (if it hasn´t already), but this is a nice placebo. You don´t get any of the complex economical mechanics, but the combat system is not that easy either. It´s fun to play it for around 20 min every once in a while. That´s also it´s weakest point: it gets extremely repetitive too soon (but I don´t think this was designed to play it for hours, it´s not a Total War or AoE). If you like RTS, then this is a good addition.

Hollow Knight

Support GoG

I only own one copy of this game, and it´s from this store. Silksong will be the first and maybe only game I will ever get day 1, and it will also be from GoG.
