Got a notification on GOG Galaxy that this was on GOG and I snapped it up within a minute. I now have it on Switch, Steam (through a physical DVD version), and GOG. But I want this DRM-Free. Exactly why I nabbed it again. As for the game, it's a modern masterpiece of action gaming. Certainly one of the best games of the last decade, and will likely go down as one of the best games ever made. It feels amazing the entire time, and it turbo boosted a classic franchise to the forefront of gaming once again. I just wish more modern games performed this well. The performance is fantastic here, and the game still looks amazing. There is no reason for you to ever skip over buying this game. If it's available, you should own it. So buy it.
Do not miss out. Just make sure to install a few mods like the Seamless HD mod, and a few others. Check PC Gaming Wiki for links. It updates a lot of things so it works great with controllers in HD, gives higher quality sound, and improves the graphics and all sorts of things. It's a masterpiece that shouldn't be missed. If you're interested in horror games in any way, DO NOT miss out on this one.
Dude, Blood is such a frickin great time. You get into playing it and especially once you get a decent sized arsenal, you're jumping all around annihilating your enemies, and better FPS bliss was never had. If you don't own it, you either don't like FPS games or you need to reevaluate your life. Blood is amazing. Buy it yesterday, and at any price.
Absolutely phenomenal game, and somehow they kept the original level design mostly intact from the original game. This game is truly a masterpiece.
A classic now put together in a fun package. I still think if you're going to play Doom (1, 2, Chex Quest, Hexen, Heretic, Etc) it's best to use a source port like GZDOOM. However, for those who just want simplicity, this is just perfect for that. And there's a good mod downloader too. For full mod support use GZDOOM or whatever is needed, but this DOES work great even if it lacks some of the more modern upgrades other ports have. And if you don't already have Doom 1 and 2, just buy it. What're you waiting for? It's been 30 years man, get with the program!
One of the BEST boomer shooters available. The action is fast and frenetic, and the music is just *chef's kiss* amazing. I honestly could not recommend this game any higher. And the fact that the game was made using the Build Engine is even more impressive. If you like first person shooters at all, you should seriously ask yourself why you haven't ALREADY bought this game yet.
The graphics are incredible in this game, and the music is amazing. I'll admit I don't have the PC version, I have it on my Switch, but there's no differences between them as far as I know. The fighting gameplay is great, and the voice acting is silly and fun. It's a blast, and a ton of fun with a buddy fighting alongside you. And did I mention the music is amazing? It is. If you like beat-em-ups, this should be right near the top of your list of games to buy.
