I like the turn based system it has, it's like FF but with more movement. But that's the only thing I can praise it for. But despite the combat being good, everything else is bland. Played it for almost 22 hours and there are very little variation in enemies, they immediately did color variations of the same ones. There's crafting, but it's pretty chaotic. There's no need to craft armor, since you always get to buy better or find better. There's a crafting bench for weapons, armor, gems and one for misc. stuff. Since these benches are always in a city/town, never all beside each other or very close and only the mini map works there, it's a little annoying to use, especially when you need the bench for misc. stuff to make materials used to craft weapons. Then there's the whole gem system, which is upgrades you put in your weapons which gives stat boosts and skills/spells. To get better gems you can combine them at the bench, but there's almost no rules to it, so you don't know what you're going to get, you might even become OP very easily. The weapons are strange, the gem slots in them give you different paths which give different stat boosts, but some of them doesn't really work for the character, like the main character having a path on a weapons where every slot boosts his magic attack. After almost 22 hours I have only been able to get him 1 spell and it doesn't do damage, making it worthless. Visually it's okay, but there's nothing interesting really, also makes combat bit boring, a lot looks like they copy pasted or rushed it. Story wise, it's moving pretty slow and isn't very interesting, a bit because of the varied quality of the voices, but also the writing for the story isn't great, I have enjoyed some conversations though, as sometimes the voices and the script just works.
