Cold Waters

Not good enough for the £30 price tag!

It may be a modern game, but it plays like the 1990 "Silent Service II"! Only worse! If I'd have tried this out within time for me to get a guaranteed refund I would have refunded without a second thought. Thankfully I bought it on sale for about £8, not £30. I'd have been very angry I paid £30 for this simplistic arcade dressed as a serious sim, but stupidly over difficult and unfair game. I've heard there are mods that improve it, I've yet to try them, but vanilla is a disgrace. I'm sorry Killer Fish, but you are a bunch of lousy grifters.

King's Bounty: Dark Side

Good, but not for the impatient

All the King's Bounty games are based on the Heroes of Might and Magic series........ and why not? No point breaking a winning formula. So if you love HMoMM you will like these. The elephant in the room with all the KB games is repetitiveness. You will be doing a lot, A LOT, and I mean A LOT of going backwards and forwards to the same places through the same maps (which are rather small and claustraphobic) and may find some quests extremely irritating, with a chance to have them rendered uncompletable....... not good if it's a core quest! So you have to be careful and will probably be using Google a lot. The KB series seems to have more types of units and spells than HMoMM does though, and KB is more orientated toward the adventuring side - though you will still get through 1000s of battles! "The Dark Side" seems to be quite a bit bigger and longer than the others as well. So, if you like this sort of thing, and are a VERY patient gamer and can put up with some tedious quests, you'll get every penny's worth out of this one!

Hitman 3: Contracts

It simply......

DOES. NOT. WORK. You cannot even MOVE in the game. Nothing on the forums fixes it. Well not for me anyway. This is another example of both GOG "shovel (of shit) ware" AND them breaking their own "it works" promise. Anyone remember that? Back when GOG were trusted? GOG should not be selling this anymore if it doesn't work on today's PCs. And even though this makes sense and is truthful an honest, you just watch how many negrepping scumbags will come along.........

Shadowrun Hong Kong - Extended Edition

Waste of time.

Game killing bugs, and this is CRAWLING with them, will ensure you never finish. So what's the point of even starting it then? Come on, you have to admit, what is the point? Don't support developers that foist such bug sodden garbage onto us. Don't buy this one. The other two Shadrow run games were good though, so ok, buy those, but not this one. Negreppers....... why? Why do you negrep reviews like this? Why do support developers that rip us off? Why do you support games that are actually broken dogshit? Shame on you, scum.

Iratus: Holidays Skin Set

Blatant, profane cash grab

Many other devs would issue tiny DLCs with just "four skins" for free. Not this greedy money grubbing lot though. The game itself is great, but the developers marketing strategy stinks worse than the rotting flesh of the undead.

Hellpoint

Yet another GOG freebie......

that's just a big shovel of shit! So is this what the infamous "Dark Souls" difficulty is like then huh? Better stay away from anything even remotely compared to DS then! This had me ripping my hair out in frustration before I'd even got through 15 minutes worth. I take it the criteria for GOG giving out a free offer is it getting a "weak" rating on "OpenCritic" huh?

Steel Rats™

Yet MORE "shovel of shit ware"....

..... from inept "indie" developers. This is EXCREMENT. It is why this was also another of "GOG"s free "shit in bag" offers. Pay the full £9 for this and you've been seriously conned my friend! It CTD'd on me within TWO SECONDS of the initial intro video sequence. No errors given or anything. I tried again, it CTD'd AGAIN with TWO SECONDS of me actually starting the game. Looking at the other reviews about it's controls maybe this actually saved me from a lot of needless anguish and frustration!

Steel Rats™ Stylish Mayhem - Skins DLC

Tirth...... rly?

It's getting as bad as Steam for reviews these days. Anyway, I am going to give the devs credit where due......... they at least made this FREE. Unlike "Unfrozen / Daedalic" who charge £3 for the same thing, just four skins.

THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2002

FAECES!

Just...... FAECES! It might be ok with a proper "controller", but I wouldn't bet on it. Don't forget to negrep and get all your buttboi mates to do the same, then go sniff your own incontinence pads, negreptards. (Yes, I'm POed right now)

Carmageddon TDR 2000

I always thought this was a "classic"

Well, maybe it is if you like a liquified mix of faeces, urine and vomit down your neck. Oh wait, it even describes itself as a "turd" in the store page!!!!!!!!
