I played the Steam version of the game and would not recommend it. The game is too long - it takes about twenty hours and has approx. one hour long story with rather unsatisfactory ending. The rest is mostly just crawling through gloomy underground corridors where you can get lost easily. There are some enemies that are just annoying and cannot be destroyed. Puzzles are impossible to solve, if you overlook some tiny object in huge area. The game is not scary, rather depressing and has very unlikeable protagonist.
This game has great handdrawn graphics and nice musical score. Sadly everything else is bad. The biggest problem is nonsensical puzzles that defy human logic so playing without walkthrough is extremely frustrating and practically impossible. The story is rather weak, many characters are unremarkable and English voices are often annoying, especially voice of Sadwick. Plus there is lots of useless chatter and would-be jokes that are not much funny. I played only half of the game and rest of it watched on YouTube. I was glad I did it because second half is not better than first, maybe even worse. Still for graphics alone is worth to watch the game but I would not recommend to play it because of very bad puzzle design.
I recommend reading Steam reviews including negative ones before buying Kingdom Come. The game was released there with lots of critical bugs. Few minutes after release on GOG I see review here that states "a lot of bugs but most of them are already fixed". No way this reviewer could test it properly.
