It has jank, but it's fun in a way that only those old RPG's could be. Doesnt take itself too serious, and is a a good timekiller. I plan on playing it through. But I could see how this is not for everyone.
So, once in a while I crave old school games, hence GOG. This game is certainly able to scratch the old-school dungeon crawler itch, whilst bringing it's own modern flavor. Fantastic and difficult, I look forward to my time with this game.
