Played Doom 1 + Final, 2, the original 3 + DLC when they came out and now as a utter surprise, I can play Doom 64 I never knew it existed at all. What a pleasant surpise it was & reliving the fun I had with the old ones. If I should rank them from best to least: 3, 64, 1, Final & 2. PROS: - Some superb level design, I love wandering around cleared levels - Better ambient outworldly sounds & grunts - Better details - 1 new monster & some improved versions of old ones - Blasting fun & healthy tension balans - Secrets rooms & levels - Almost 40 levels - The price CONS: - Lacks some of the enemies of 2 & 3 - I didn't like the hidden FUN levels. Did remind me of the last level of Doom 2 . . . This game is really what GOG stands for and even for the full asking price, it's steal for what you get ! It's old, but boy, it's still sounds, plays, feels & blasts good !

You are a very small robot which has to repair the internals of some bigger robots, which has each a different functionality like working in water, goo, . . . environments. The blocks you find are made of different materials and matching characteristics. You can pick them up, launch them to stick to matching blocks, open doors, switch levers, build patterns, block deadly devices, charge them and use them to charge other devices, ... Find the exit at each level and the 3 parts of a memory card while solving puzzles to fix each robot step by step. Pros: - To the point graphics - Fun logical puzzles with some real brainteaser to get some memory cards - Different environments, materials & their effects to use to your advantage: Water, Sticky goo, Metal, Wood, Ice, Clouds, . . . - Recall button to go back x times before you screwed it - Nice & functional music Cons: - A minor bug that let a launched block disappear. Press the recall button till when you took the block or entered the screen to solve it. I enjoyed it very much and much, much more than it's predecessor. A refreshing first class puzzler with a minor flaw. Really recommended.
