The story is actually quite captivating. Visuals are pleasant. Characters are quite interesting. Surprisingly, the fun part is the gameplay - it still is a visual novel, but one that reminds you of doki doki literature club or some of the dating-rom-sims.
Das Spiel kam in der Spielepresse nur gemäßigt an, aber ich sehe hier eine schöne Open World mit angenehmer Größe, funktionierende Spielmechanik und eine nette Story. Man muss einige klassisch dumme Missionen hinnehmen und es werden viel zu viele Wörter in der Sprache der Einwohner verwendet. Aber das Erkunden macht sehr viel Spaß und die Dialoge sind mit sehr viel Charme und Witz geschrieben.
I didn't expect much when I bought this game. The screenshots and the game description as well as some screenshots and videoclips from the internet did not provide me a detailed impression. In my point of view you'll have plenty of fun IF you know what you'll get. After playing about 12 hours through the game, here is my review. First things first: This game is NOT like some Japanese branched story visual novel game. You do get some choices but these are not relevant at all (as it seems to me at least). There is not branched story scenario. However, you DO get a surprisingly well story that really caught my eye! I wanted to know how the story goes on. The story unfolds logically - which is not a standard in this genre/these type of games. In addition to that the graphics are quite nice and the frequent nicely done animations are great! There are drawbacks, sure. Like no real decisions even though it seems like that - plus rare minor decisions which could have been easily built in more often. But if you are up for a nice story with reasonable twists and nice animation, go for it! I had plenty of fun because I simply overlooked some drawbacks since the story and the animation positively surprised me.
