Resident Evil

An amazing game even for younger REfans

I personally have become a fan of RE since 2 or 3 years ago and since then I have played every single main resident evil game except from the spinoffs and the original PS1 trilogy, and I gotta say that even coming from playing the RE1 remake it still is a very solid game to play. Yeah it has less content than the remake and less lore and story, but the overall setting, the thicc pixels, the music, the overall game feel still holds up even to this day (Atleast to me). Is always fun to me to explore how old games used to be and I always knew I had to play the original games at some point and I am glad I did, is fun to discover the changed they did to the remake from this one and finding those differences and returning to the Spencer mansion once again is always a delight, it not only showcases how great the remake was but it also shows how solid the original game is and how big of an impact it left in the industry. So I totally recommend it if you want to explore the origins of this franchise. Can't wait to play RE2 and specially RE3 PLEASE CAPCOM WE NEED A PROPER REMAKE OF RE3 :'( Regarding this gog release is very solid, I had 0 technical issues even if I played the game day 1 I played the game with a PS5 dualsense and had 0 issues, the only con I would say it has is that the FMVs run at a very low frame rate but that's a problem of the OG release on PC more than a GOG problem. They did a fantastic job on making this game available for newer fans just like me, is important to preserve games and I love that now is on GOG and legally available :).

Metro Exodus

I love this world and this game so much

This is the third game in the franchise and I bought the entire metro collection and played all the three games for the first time, and OH BOY.... what an amazing franchise I had to chance to experience.... <3 I was previously a fallout fan but since bethesda took such terrible decissions with 76 and ethical choices a companY I was a little sad because I really enjoyed that sense of apocalyptic world with story telling that I didn't found anywhere else, but I never really heard about metro before and with the release of the " PC ENHANCED EDITION" and my new PC I said like: yeah why not? let's try it out, and oh boy what an amazing experience. Taking account that I played all 3 games in literally 2 weeks is insane, since 2033 I completely fell in love with the franchise, is such a grounded world with it's setting and world building, the art style of the previous games reamain intact with exodus and it just makes everything else look higher quality and is amazing, all the environments looks insanely realistic and beautiful, all the places where you go with your crew just look gorgeous... The story starts with the hopeless dream that every person in the metro has in the post apocalyptic Russia, a way to find a better place for our loved ones... away from that chaotic faction war, the lack of a proper air source to breathe and finally be free from that concrete sky. That is the premise of this game, unlike the other metro games, there's is not a main villain, someone to blame or something like that, the main objective is to explore the unknown frontiers that are ahead of us , to discover what happenned to the rest of the world after the war, to see how the people survived all this time and how they have evolved, and I think that that's the main plot about this game the people and it's world, your family and taking care of them while you explore the remains of the previous land known as Russia... It's a fascinating world and I cannot recommend it enough.
