Syberia 3: The Complete Journey

I am rather enjoying this game.

When my father was alive, we got to know each other, by playing adventure and puzzle games. When it came to Syberia, I was in awe, being an artist, at the music and artwork used in this game. And it may be because of this fact, that I can enjoy some games, more than other people do. Like most adventure games, the puzzles are solved searching for random things, that will help you to solve an objective, to move on in the game. And because of the scenery, I don't mind wandering around aimlessly sometimes LOL. I was lucky to have purchased it, when it was a good price, and I am about 4 hours in now, I know it says almost 20, but I have a habit of wandering away from computer, and then getting sidetracked for a lot of hours, I honestly don't even know if I am 4 hours in lol. I just know I have just got back up to the clinic. While it is not quite as good as the other two, it still is an amazing game, and if I am not passed out , or staring off into space, I do enjoy playing it. Regardless of the negative star ratings. I will agree about the save points, and also the slowness, but I moved from an external drive, to an internal and it was faster, with the little lag I have today, I may put on my SSD drive, and it doesn't take all that long for it to update, and since the saves are in the cloud, I don't have to worry about losing info. Bottom line, I say buy it, and if you believe there is truth to the negative reviews, then put on wishlist and buy when it is on sale, that way you can judge for yourself. Maybe you will find, that the reviews you see here, are but a small amount, of the people that have actually played, and that most of the ones, that really enjoyed the game, just don't bother to comment :-)

Warcraft I & II Bundle

Awesome

Great to see that older Blizzard Classics are here, Warcraft series is a blast and I have played many hours in this strategy series. Plus endless hours of poking peons LOL. I will have to wait for sales though as on a budget and the greedy Blizzard empire is charging GoG too much I am guessing, because this is a stupid price for this game right now. I own every CD and DVD Blizzard has put out anyway, just not having to pull out a real old computer to play would be nice. So it is the waiting game for me. But it is an AWESOME game which is a blast to play.

Diablo + Hellfire

Awesome Game

When I was going to college I was introduced to Blizzard's Warcraft by a fellow student. Playing Warcraft which was old at the time led me to Warcraft 2. Which in turn led me to Diablo and the Sierra Hellfire expansion. Well that was fun good times and when my father got me Diablo 2 I rarely slept lol. Anyway this is long winded. I own the CD but I can't play it on here, so when it goes on sale I will buy it and any other digital versions of Blizzard Games, they all rock. This one is a hack and slash stress release, not to mention fun to explore. The secret cow level was full of goodies and Wert lost his leg and when you find that it has good uses. Dungeons change which was really cool at the time. Sure it is old but who cares, that is why we are here, the best games are old. Especially these Good Old Games.

Jazz Jackrabbit Collection

Warm and fuzzy feelings game.

By far one of my favorite platform games. But like sharonbn said, it is way overpriced.

Titan Quest Anniversary Edition

Awesome

I just wanted to add my two cents. I have put in two hours on this game when I should be sleeping. The reason for this is that it is a fun game with beautiful scenery. It is definately a gem and if you like hack and slash with quests and sidequests then you will also love it. Everyone prior to me has said pretty much what I think of the game and since my grammar sucks I will stop here and say that you should just buy the game and will not be dissapointed.

Tyrian 2000

Awesome way to pass the time.

I was just waiting on hold and you know how that goes. Well I thought what game can I play while I wait. Tyrian was a game I purchased a few years back on one of those CD's that have a couple of old school games on it and I spent many hours blowing things up. Now with all the computer upgrades I haven't had it installed for a while and when I got it free as part of the GOG game package I was happy seeing yet another fun game I recognized. It has nice graphics, ok synthesized music and a nice variety of things to blow up. You get to upgrade your weapons right at the start at least in normal mode I was playing in. So I would definitely add this to my collection even if I did have to pay for it. The fact it was free is awesome.

Symphony

A no brain shootem upper

I just got this on the spring insomnia sale and after reading a few reviews I decided to get it. Is it worth the full price, in my opinion no. However it is worth spending what I did on it. I like old school style games like Galaga and Galaxian and even though it doesn't come close they didn't let you use your own music. You have unlimited lives so if you are just burned out and just want to do something while listening to your music without any heavy thinking, then this is the perfect game to relax to. I find a lot of games frustrate, I think so far anyway, that there is nothing to frustrate you in this game. So grab it, sit back and chill, it is relaxing.
