This is one of the first RTS that i've played, and in my opinion among the best of 90s RTS games. Resource management very simple so you don't have to worry about running out of resources. There are many units & buildings to build so you can use different approach based on your location, and your enemies. Combat feels realistic because terrain elevation can affect how the units & turrets can shoot.
This is an amazing free game with beautiful music and good looking 2d graphics. The control is a bit clunky even using a game pad but you can get used to it with time. There are graphical glitches in several spots but nothing major. Definitely will purchase the remake.
