I wanted to buy this game, but thanks to "the 7 seas" that allowed me a "test drive", I didn't! Aside from the tedious grinding and purposeless main campaign and dealing with those 4 idiots(Athena and the others), you basically get bored easily. Also the devs went w 0 k 3, it's impossible to understand the situation when you can't even point out WHO the game is referring to when it comes to make decisions, my native language is Spanish and even in Spanish I have to deal with the same problem, I don't know whom the game is referring to. "They" is a plural pronoun, any single individual that uses it on itself has some "Legion" problem. I mean, let's go to the Spanish version of the game, same deal. Impossible to point out an individual when you use plural on ONE BEING! We, Hispanics, have a gendered language for a reason, to avoid confusions like the one this game adds for no reason. We have El(male), Ella(female) and Ello(neutral), the game uses NONE OF THOSE! You call that idiot "Athena" while you refer to a clear FEMALE NAME with a "they" instead of Her, Are you insane? Don't answer, we know it's a resounding YES! I tried in spanish because english proved to be impossible to manage your settlement without cheating, and in spanish I ended up cheating to get the settlement in a somewhat functional state, all because the devs went insane using plural instead of singular pronouns for individuals... This game and other with "ESG devs" are a disgrace!
TLDR: Please Realmforge and Kalypso Don't Go Woke because you will Get Broke. I was enjoying the game, it is great, funny inside the gameplay, but them I heard some idiotic comment about Making the franchise great again. 1st IT IS ALREADY GREAT! That was stupid. 2nd Please tell me you're not going with T derangement Syndrome. Look, I get it, not everyone likes the Orange Man and maybe some developer has TDS. Please don't poison your games with political trash. If it was a joke, fine... We can laugh at the joke, we actually have a sense of humor, the problem is I didn't heard any other famous quote from other people.. What about "bag of deplorables" or "using a magic wand"? Nothing... it seems curious such famous quotes went unused in this game. After all it was made in 2017. Look, the left can't meme, everybody knows that, we actually can laugh at a good joke, my critique is towards Realmforge and Kalypso, DON'T make the mistake of going derangedly woke, you will destroy your fan base and regret it once the money stops coming; Disney, Hollywood, game journalists and everyone that has gone woke has learned the hard way, getting Woke doesn't produce money.
Excellent game and history, just like 1 and 2, it's so sad what happened with 3 but they redeemed themselves with Trine 4. Will they bring Trine 5? I hope so. And is not "The Ma'am Of Us 2"
-Base micro-management in extremely hostile conditions Oh boy, Extreme conditions it is! -Randomly assigned crew members with different skills and stories in each gameplay This is true and it's a nice point. -Different needs to satisfy: nutrition, physical condition and mental health Also true and this is the basis of the difficulty, good managers will beat this game easily. -Non-obvious sci-fi plot Not quite, I anticipated part of the plot, so for me it wasn't a surprise but there is a surprise that really got me, nice... -Ominous presence of the Symmetrical World I don't know what are they're talking about! -Moral choices – collectivism vs individualism I don't get this either, the moral choices can be avoided if you manage it perfectly avoiding danger to the crew. -Unique vector graphics and ambient sound setting True, not great but does the trick. -High replay-ability and various strategies to beat the game Maybe, but the reality is that the strategy is always the same... -Survival game mode unlocked once the main mission is accomplished This is for the ones who are the best. Obviously not me, LOL!
To be honest i was expecting trash thanks to the reviews and the change from 2D to 3D. I like it, sure it cost to adapt yourself to the new perspective but you come to accept the change and is a good challenge. The only sad part is that it was somewhat short compared to Trine 1 and 2. The history... WOW! I bought it because I played Trine before... 😉😉, so when I bought the trilogy was with no knowledge of Trine 3, not disappointed at all.
The funny comments of the narrator, the references, the 4th wall breaking... I plan on getting Dungeons 3 because this on was amazing... Para los que hablan español: No saldrán decepcionados, esta buenísimo, entretenido y es muy gracioso... The extra maps on the DLCs are a huge challenge! Not disappointed, but be warned, they are a bit harder... Si desean más desafíos los DLCs tienen mapas que son más difíciles...
unles you're Paul Muadib or a Bene Geserit... The emulator has no controls over the speed of the game, it just go at the fastest speed and makes it unenjoyable. I hope it gets fixed soon.
