Well well well, is it not the good old Chaos Engine? The one I had to constantly start over the 3rd World, since my elder brother's Amiga floppy version was not correctly playing the last level, the Chaos Engine, and since I always forgot to write down (or maybe simply didn't want to) the last world's "Level Code". This game was so much fun that I kept on playing and playing, even while I knew that I could not play the last level. Puzzles were pretty hard sometimes. For example, in the World Three, there was a treasure room which was visible but blocked by a stone. That room was in the beginning part. I always looked at that room with envy, hoping some day I would get those things. I could not :) Walking hands. That's all that keeps following you in many years. In your dreams, I mean. Great concept, greater application. I'm so very tempted to buy this game again. Well, I think I will now. I rarely recommend a game. This is one of those few. By the way, about 5 years ago, I managed to complete the game (the last level). By using WinUAE on my old computer. I also played Chaos Engine 2 there, which really sucked. This Chaos Engine is the best one. p.s. Never managed to complete Shadowlands, though. I hope Shadowlands also comes to GOG "with a walkthrough" if possible :)
worked with Windows 8... I've been looking for this game for so long, but I couldn't find a compatible one with my Windows 8. I remembered good ol' gog but sadly, this one only supports Windows 7... Disciples works with Windows 8, but Disciples 2 does not :( I've opened a support ticket, and a fellow named Genoan told me that the Product Team was working on it. I hope they will make it so that I can finally play this game under Windows 8 ..
