Decent enough, but in the long run too simplistic and it feels unfinished in terms of scenario and campaign design in my opinion. Ultimately, I think Caesar 4 is the better roman city builder from the mid 2000s; alternatively Caesar 3 with the Augustus mod tops both.

The strength of this game lies in my opinion with the gameplay and the really fun game design overall and mission design in particular; the story was alright and somewhat entertaining, but didn't do much for me.
I do remember that I genuinely liked the protagonist, additionally the mystery of what actually goes on was extremely motivating to uncover and the delivery of the actual "Moment of Silence" at the end of the game was an extremely satisfying end to the plot; I really recommend!

While I had mixed feelings about Soul Harvest, I think Fallen God is again as great as the SF3 main game; never before had I encountered such beautiful writing for trolls! I really grew to like them a lot, their relationships, culture and mythology; Particularly how the writers combined a new take on trolls with original SF1 and 2 lore was a neat stunt which I appreciate a lot. The only grief I have is that they didn't implement female trolls (like they didn't implement female Orcs) and just mentioned them in a dialogue.
