Milkmaid of the Milky Way

Short and sweet

A really sweet and lovely experience in roughly movie length :)

Party Hard

Hilariously Macabre

If you like dark humour, have a love-hate relationships to parties and party culture and pixelart is your thing? I think it's well worth the time

Thief™ 3: Deadly Shadows

Fun sequel, if you mod it

I played it for the first time in 2025 with the sneaky upgrade Mod, and I have to say, I definitely liked the game! Sometimes it's a bit too glitchy/buggy and I think the new devs didn't nail the tone of the first two games perfectly, and sometimes I felt the story was a BIT off, but overall I think they delivered a good sequel with a good story and satisfying ending.

Thief™ 2: The Metal Age

Freshly played

I played it this year, 2025, for the first time and I found it to be as great as everyone says, good story, interesting characters, Garrett is likeable and the gameplay is fantastic. I find it particularly stunning how the plot of a technology-cult hijacking a corrupt government seems to be timeless

Wolfenstein: The New Order

Good action and excellent writing

Fantastic game and more relevant than ever. What I found the most impressing was, how the writers managed to combine absolute trash b-movie like elements with genuine narrative depths and interesting characters.

Maniac Mansion

Fascinating view into the past

I joined P&C adventures roughly a decade later with "Broken Sword", which defined t he genre for me, since then I played a lot of other more or less modern P&C adventures; so I can't enjoy Maniac Mansion how it would have been at the time, in the 1980s within a less defined genre (Except maybe for Sierras stuff). So I can see why it has become so popular, but I have to admit that it was just mildly entertaining for me. Still fascinating as a piece of Gaming history.

Thief™ Gold

A new favourite of mine

For years I heard great things about the old Thief games, still I first got around to play Dishonored in 2012 and then a few years later the Thie reboot. (I still like Dishonoered a lot, the reboot was boring though) And now, finally, I got around to play Thief Gold and OH WOW WHAT A GREAT GAME! I love the atmosphere, the worldbuilding, the character was also really likeable and the plot interesting. But really, the mood is what makes this game so fantastic. So eventhough I only played it now, in 2025, for the first time, it became one of my favourite games.

Serpent in the Staglands

Great ideas, bad execution

A wonderful artstyle, graphics engine and soundtrack in addition to a very intriguing worldbuilding and start of a story. However, the gameplay is very unbalanced, so much so that even I care about it; and usually I don't. Enemies respawn after loading a saved game within a dungeon, the dialouges are all extremely short, the combat is tiring and grindy except if you go for exploits, and so on. It's a case in which I wish I could love this game but I can't

Terra Nil - Deluxe Edition

Absolutely lovely game

I had a lot of fun palying this really pretty, and relaxing, game. The soundtrack and artbook included in this version are imo worth it. The only thing I'm missing is something like an actual narrative/story.

Gone Home

Nice mystery, great atmosphere

I found the story itself to be nice, but not mindblowing or deeply engaging; however the way the story is told, the overll amtosphere which switches between cozyness and almost creepy really capitvated me.
