Hearts of Iron II: Complete

What brought me into Paradox games

It's the first Paradox grand strategy game I ever played and it was a fantastic experience. I even think, it still holds up to a degree

Act of War: Gold Edition

C&C Generals in spirit

There is ra review with the title "Tom Clancy's Command and Conquer" and tbh? That already says it all! I had a lot of fun with the gameplay back then. What I particularly liked, that there is an actual PoW mechanic, something unique within the RTS genre, pretty cool!

Neverwinter Nights: Pirates of the Sword Coast

Fun journey

This module is among my favourites of the premium modules; it's a fun and atmospheric tale in spirit of "Pirates of the Carribean" but make it D&D. It's also the only CRPG in which a companion of my character insisted to be eaten by me, that's unique

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition

Lovely class enhanced

It works like a charm and I still have as much fun with it as with the original back then. Yes, the main campaign lacks refinement, but I think it was hated a bit too much, I was still very intrigued by several concepts and I'll always remember Aribeth, her character alone makes it worth it for me ot get back to the game. However, since both addons are included and particularly HotU is an absolute masterpiece, I can only recommend this game to CRPG fans!

Sacred Gold

My most favourite Diabloclone

I love Sacred 1, or well, the main game. Exploring this vast world was always a lot of fun for me and to discover one magical, beautiful, haunting, dark, colourful or whatever environment after the other was what primarily motivated me to play it. The fantastic original German voice acting just added to it (I'm sorry for everyone who has to endure the English voices) The gameplay in itself was also fun, even if repetitive. The addon "Underworld" however is too blatantly racist for my taste though. And also boring.

Codename Panzers: Phase One

Decent RTS

Coming from Sudden Strike and Blitzkrieg, Codename Panzers was a big revelation for me at the time; by now it's still decent even if I prefer Men of War

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Anniversary Edition

Cool, particularly with mods

It was one of my introductions to the WH40k universe and a good one at that. Winter Assault is my personal favourite since it features a campaign with my two most favourite factions: Imperial Guard and Craftworld Eldar!

Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition

Among my most favourite CRPGs

What can I say what wasn't said already a thousand times? I absolutely adore the writing and particularly how much depth almost all characters have. Oh and the combat isn't as bad as everyone says, I had fun with it, even if it's not my most favourite CRPG combat

Return to Mysterious Island

Relaxing and innocent

It's one of my comfort games I like to fall back to when I need a feel-good story; the pre-rendered backgrounds aged very well and the crafting mechanics are still a lot of fun

Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™

Great for goths

While I was dissapointed by the main story, I think it's an overall fantastic RPG-shooter with great dialogues (I actually did play a Malkavian in my first playthrough and I don't regret it), fantastic atmosphere and awesome music
