If you don't know and love this game yet, somehow, you really need to try it out. It's a classic, and still quite good.
I thought that we all agreed to never speak of 9? Some of the music was good. Some of the random character comments were good. ("what and interesting smell you've discovered!") I tried to play through it a few times. Really, I did. Each time, I finally had to admit that it was horribad. I used to want to work for 3DO, back in the day. Someone in the industry warned me against it, and not too much longer, this game came out, and I was so glad I never tried for it. I have played the earlier games (starting with 3, anyway) over and over again. Even with incredibly outdated mechanics and graphics, it's still suck a great series that I can enjoy it in my late 30s just as I did in my teens. Except for this one. This one is like the Heroes of Might and Magic 7 of Might and Magic, you dig? Also, ugly, tedious, bleh.
