Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition

Bit of information about the game

This is a realease by Aspyr which is part of the acquisition company Embracer Group who has spent the last few years gobbling up smaller developer companies, and immediatly dumping their games library onto the store for a marked up price. Neverwinter Nights 1 was realeased from Beamdog a few years back, and that was followed by an massive amount of original content and story content. Don't expect that here since the company is dumping so many games on the market at once, support for any one game is highly doubtful, wiht the overarching strategy being to provide a few minor touchups on previously relased works, and use nostalgia as the main driver for sales. Business Strategy I name the "Tactics Ogre/Final Fantasy Tactics Strategy" While reasearching the catalog of companies under the Embracer Group umbrella I learned that they had recenly shut Pirhanna Bytes down, which really rubbed me the wrong way. They also are working on the Knights of the Old Republc "remake" so take that for what you will.

Really fun ARPG

Awesome Game and a lot of fun to play. The voice acting and dialogue can be goofy, but I believe it adds to the charm.

You can die in training....

Thought I would test my level 1 party in a sparring fright in the city. My whole team died and took me back to main menu. Have to make my entire party agian? Nope

Heads Will Roll: Downfall

Couple tip for early game

Major tip for the full Reforged Game First only play on the Rogue-like difficulty. It says it's hard in the description, but each time you die your account levels up, giving you more money for the next go around. At first it is impossibly hard, but all you need to do is just win the first battle , than sell all your stuff (including your weapons armor and anything else). Go into the second battle and just die. The game takes the amount fo money you had at your death and converts it to exp. Do 10 runs of that and your will have so a lot of points that at the very least you can start already experienced with a sword, with decent stats. Eventually after 50 or so runs you will have points that will make you God Tier. Than you get to roleplay the anime "overpowered MC trope". Nothing like the country peasant showing up onto the battlefield, saving the Prince in the first engagement, beheading French Kinghts in front of their men destoying their morale, and eventually having the King Edward III praising your skill. Great fun!

Icewind Dale 2 Complete

Icewind Dale 2 Enhanced Free with buy

https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/87952/icewind-dale-2-enhanced-edition-is-released/p1 In a bit of context, the Source of Icewind Dale 2 was lost in the entire "fall of Interplay" debacle. So, as is what happens to most projects like this, it falls to a small team of modders to come in like heroes and save the day. They rebuilt the game from the ground up, so they deserve some respect

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II

5 stars for great memories

Find anybody else willing to bring this game over to PC. Why has everybody gotten so spoiled, that for an older game to be brought to PC, it must have all new features, all new characters, all new weapons, completely optimized for ULTRA Gaming Rigs! ULTRAAAAAAA!!! Just give GOG 30 bucks for the headache of getting the D&D license, the headache of dealing with Intelectual property holders, and the time to get it to run on PC at all, not to mention the biggest PLUS OF ALL TIME NO FREAKING DRM!!!!. Hell that last point alone is worth $100 to me.
