FPS Rogue with leveling upgrades

Since I don't have any other first person shooter Rogue thing to refer to, I guess its a classic. Worth your while. Give it a shot!

Firewatch

Spoiler: This Game is an insult.

Im literally sitting here grinding my teeth for 2 hours straight by the fact that I paid 8€ in 60% sale not just for a story that is only 4 hours short, but also a story revealing being a personal insult to me afterwards, too. Spoilers. This is going to be just as objective as it is emotional. I AM playing games to hide from the reality. Most of my time I'm alone and get exactly no actual reaction of others to anything I do and in the other half people are insulting me for no particular reason except "being soo much better than this guy over there". This is the reward for not running away and facing your fears on a daily basis not like the protagonist does. Seriously. Most people on earth are made fun of so that a few can say "they're the best" because noone wants to waste time arguing. And thats just what the Protagonist does. He steps into my territory and starts a fire and when I'm really becoming obviously dangerous for him, he lets me burn down in hatred all alone. First he runs away from his own feelings, and then he runs away from the bad he made. What a hero. Instead of just following his damn wife to australia and live with her like hes supposed to be. It was a good story until right after the plot made sense. Everything after that was salt in daily wounds. Additionally, I was able to say sorry to Delilah for verbal mistakes I made JUST TWO TIMES in the whole story! Good graphics, nice voiceover, a working order of hints and gameplay. But very bad ending. The conclusion of the game is literally that the time in firewatch wasn't even needed to live your life. And thats both, inside of the story and IRL, too. Four hours of watching trees in the wind and the sun go by, without learning anything useful. Thats it.

Seven: Enhanced Edition

New universe or a far future prophecy?

IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a hidden stash. Its everywhere. Mostly. This game puts you far in the future, in which the humanity has evolved so far that mostly every war was taken by words until something fatal happened that vanquished most of humanity and set their evolutionary power over themselves as a whole far back. I highly recommend to read all the books you can get/steal. They're well written. The first loadingscreen to the main menu sometimes tells you to try different weapon types since each weapon type has a different ability. And I tell you DO IT! In the very beginning you get a mission in which the guards have "the basic" weapon types, so you just need to kill them and try them out - thats what the demo is for - later in the game you will face different enemy types and sooner or later you will realize that it might be a good idea to take more than just one weapon type with you at once, to be able to combat them all. And seriously. The Map design of this game. It. is. in. sane. The fact that you can go very deep in a mountain, in a building, or a cave, and still be able to see just everything makes the game look so ridiculously gorgeous during the play. I still cannot believe it. The map design is compact, complicated on first sight, but very well readable for spintaneously planned actions. This is one hell of a good stealth game, and although i felt like i was gathering way too much trash around early on, i got pretty much use out of it in the later game. Dont loot too much. As soon as you got the upgrades of your crafting stations you really dont need any more trash except for actual crafting of secondary tools like health and buff injections and consumable tools like grenades. This game wants you to make it your own. You dont even need stealth to beat it, but sometimes its just better to not face too many enemies at once. If youre a Warrior, no problem! This game gives you plenty of options to do just like you want - at every point of the game. Play it.

Torchlight

high replayability value

I just liked it at first, played through the first time as a Destroyer very slowly, but as soon as I understood how the heirloom and retirement worked I played through the game another few times as a Destroyer. Right after I started trying the Vanquisher once I was looking at the time and saw that I beat the 100 hours mark of playing time with just one slightly varied build and several runs and thoughts and tries of making it cleaner. The replayability of this game is insane! If you like a game that has enough character variability to serve just like you want to play it, you will most probably have fun with this. Just remember: It's a hack & slay. And it's a singleplayer. If youre fine with both you're going to love it!
