Description
Seven: The Days Long Gone is an open-world, isometric role-playing game, in which you play as Teriel, a master thief sent on a mission that will shake the foundations of the Vetrall Empire. Free roam across the vibrant prison island of Peh, and choose whether to help or exploit its many citizens.

If there’s one place that Master Thief Teriel avoids at all costs, it’s the prison island of Peh. But when a daring heist takes an unexpected turn, Teriel finds himself shackled on an airship bound for the infamous island. To make matters worse, the daemon inside his head makes it very clear that the thief will never leave unless he does exactly what he’s told.

Seven: The Days Long Gone you play as Teriel. You must use all of your cunning and clandestine skills to escape a web of deceit and betrayal, and ultimately survive Peh.

EXPLORE A VIBRANT OPEN WORLD FROM AN ISOMETRIC PERSPECTIVE

From the moment you set foot on Peh, the island is open to you. Sneak, run, climb, and fight your way across a colourful array of environments. You are free to explore wherever you please; only security checkpoints, monster-infested areas, and dangerous factions stand in your way!

CHOOSE YOUR PLAYSTYLE

As a master thief, Teriel is well versed in the art of stealth. Get the jump on enemies from behind and above, fool everyone with cunning disguises, or just use the environment to keep out of sight entirely. If things go wrong, however, or you’re feeling impatient, there’s nothing to stop you from letting loose with an array of devastating weapons, and unleashing deadly magical skills upon your foes.

ENCOUNTER A MYRIAD OF COLOURFUL CHARACTERS

Encounter an array of people, from despondent slaves and prisoners through to rich socialites. Just be sure to keep an eye out for the two major factions on Peh: the Biomancers and the Technomagi. In such a desperate place, there are many who will take any help they can get. Choose whether to help or exploit Peh’s inhabitants, but be prepared for the consequences.

UNCOVER AN EPIC STORY OF DECEIT AND TREACHERY

On Peh, everyone has an agenda, and often there’s more than meets the eye. Dive into a world teeming with distrust, and crushed between the machinations of mighty powers. Work with the daemon that has possessed you to complete a mission of utmost importance. The fate of the Vetrall Empire rests in your hands.

One for the sneak and steal lovers

any developer that puts out a free demo of their game gets my vote, and while there are mechanics in the game that are missing from the demo, what i played was enough to convince me to buy it. i do recommend giving it a thorough playthrough, as initially i was so-so about the game, but after spending time messing about i appreciated it more.

Play demo or watch a playthrough.

Expierence so far? If this is the selling point? Don't show me the rest. As the demo is meant to be where the attention detail is to make me want to buy it. And I have a tutorial that stopped midway without my permission, drop assinations that don't register, combat that seems to be made for the controller in a pc game, enemies that hit THROUGH each other and a mission design that is not promising. Example being the first misison. Break into a mansion with a spotter that set up "distractions" to allow you access to the security chamber. What are those distractions? Explosives. Where are they placed? They don't say. Found out where via sneaking through rgw courtyard when a sculpture blew up right next to me and got me detected/trapped. Nice oversight. Not looking good for the rest of game. No explanation on the weight system, armour system or disguises in the tutorial section of the Journal. Other oversight. Explanations are in place for how to equip other clothing, but not how they're perceived by the enemy. Parry is describe as pressing the left mouse at the right moment .... what the hell is the right moment? And no explanation as how energy drain works. As they don't define what a speical attack is. This is oversight the game. And it's a shame.

Seem promissing

A fun top-down stealth rpg. Besides not being able to actually carry bodies to hide them and the combat feeling so-so (Only the Sword-Dagger combination seems to allow parrying enemy attacks), everything else was pretty interesting. Will be getting the full game.

Interesting but not so well executed

The graphics are nice, but they lag the gameplay a lot. I had to play on low, which felt like a pixel game without the performance. There is a lot of combat mechanics but they are not introduced well. The dialog texts are way too small and I wish there was more emphasis on the combat and stealth instead of the inventory diversity. The mood of the game was well delivered. I wish the difficulty didn't scale up that fast because it feels impossible to backstab an enemy without bumping into them. Pretty good to get a taste of the game, but due to clunky controls I will not buy the full game.

A fun game with a few annoying bugs

The game does have the stealth element and it's somewhat broken but still quite fun! You are always spotted even if you are under disguise. That is the broken stealth mechanic IMO. But on if you crouch you won't be heard but can still be seen. You can crouch + run (which is an unusual way to move) but that is the way to be in stealth. Keep moving from hiding spot to the next one. Another way that stealth mechanic is broken is that you can see a very llimited range of area around you. You can't spot an enemy moving towards you until it's too late. You can use your "sense" but it will slow down time, not stop it. Meaning that the enemy is still moving towards you. And you would need to keep doing it almost every 2 seconds if you truly want to spot an enemy from a little distance. But what makes this broken mechanic somewhat tolerable is that you don't have any restrictions in saving the game. So you save. Move. Get spotted. Load. Repeat that over and over again for every enemy (and there are quite a lot!) I also found lots of crates that I could loot but hardly anything worth looting. It was all worthless junk except for a food item or two. That makes the looting mechanic broken as well. But the game is still quite interesting because of the story and the way the goals get updated. Overall, a fun game with broken mechanics. But you can dodge those broken mechanics with a bazzilion incessant save-reloads. Overall, still fun.
