The DLC is good for what it does and is good if you missed something in the base game, it has moments where you get lost but hey once you know where to go it's good and Outlast knows how to deliver where the scare is waiting for you around the corner or maybe in the dark when the battery runs out and you got no batteries left.
I like this game a lot it's good horror done right it's scary and when you have to navigate the asylum just pay attention that Chris Walker isnt around the corner to rip your head off, you better keep watch before it goes wrong as the wrong turn could be the last recording.
Never had the chance to play back then when it first came out, but BEWARE that this is NOT a remaster of any kind as the source code wasn't available when this got made and is actually a reverse engineering of the original three games so they were limited in what they could do without the games getting issues in the process compared to a fullblown remaster or remake, you may or may not like the price but in essence it would 10 bucks per game and it comes with the in-game soundtrack that you can listen when going into the tunes option and the extra's are the manuals, ads, interview with Gex's voice actor and many more including the manual all from the Gextra menu, for me it was fully worth it and i am enjoying the games.
