Wizards & Warriors

So much fun playing this game (not here)

So first about me, as a "gamer" I find my enjoyment of video games to be largely based on gaining strength, to the point that stories don't get completed, I just max a character and restart. As such, understand this review might not be for you..... Also I'm suppose to incorporate my experiences of the game into the review.... So this game allows you to become obscenely powerful.... to the point that I would play with a single character and kill every NPC. Not using the turn based mode either, cause it's slow. About the NPC's: The game allows for huge freedom as you play. Many Npc's you meet across the 3 maps will grant quests and "advance" the story. But the freedom comes as you don't have to co-operate, but can largely ignore or fight with the different factions you meet. The problem, if you choose not to co-operate is that the Boss NPC's are a bit strong (the mid map 1 Dragon that guards the hero sword thing, for example, one or two hits normal team members your first time through.) The way I went about it, was to take a team of 2 to the third map, then reset the adventures and take the physical attack oriented member and complete every quest. After finishing an area, I'd clear it of inhabitants and loot everything and move on. With all the perks from quests and the experience that would normally be split by a party of 6, the one would become crazy strong. Soloing the dwarf king, the dragon, the passkey beasts on the 3rd map, including killing the 3 sages who appear at the start of the game surrounded by flames in the starting dream. (If you just played the game, you might find some mistakes in NPC bosses I might have just made, it's been a while...) TLDR: The feeling of power I could get from this game made for incredible fun. And made possible by meaty battles with over powered NPC's and the freedom to do in the game what shouldn't have been allowed.
