Croc Legend of the Gobbos

Good remaster but rough at few edges

Overall it's a good re-release but it's lacking some polish at some places The worst is the bug introduced with the hit box of the flail (spiky ball on chain swinging back and forth). It will damage the player even if you successfully avoided it, this makes 4-1 way harder than it should, especially when you are out of gems to protect first hit, instantly killing you unfairly. This bug alone is enough for me to lower my rating from 4 to 3. Second issue is the lack of rebind-able input - if you are using keyboard you are stuck with the default input mapping based on key arrows and old school tank controls. What I would like to see is an option to play with WASD for movement and mouse for camera. I also wished the UI would be more animated similar to original PSX release. In the original the colored gems and Gobbo counters would have blink if you collected the full set for the level, Also if you approached colored gem doors the original version would have show you what gems you are missing, this is not a case with the remaster, but it's not a big deal. Sadly, classic edition is also lacking the DirectX based rendering which the CD release had.

The Settlers® 4: Gold Edition

Multiple islands missions are a pain

For most part the game is solid, except when water transport get introduced, because then game becomes a lottery when (not if) it will crash. Whatever you do do not allow your transport ship to ever get destroyed, it will permamently stop the trading and any attempt to pause/resume, rebuilding an harbour will result in 100% crash.
