This point and click was a nice hour spent with Gomo looking for his dog. The game is very easy for people used to point and click so don't expect huge challenge. The game was well animated and nice to play but very short (1h30 and I wasn't playing fast). So I would recommend this game if you can buy it as me during some sales (I got it for 0,79 euros) which makes it a very nice small game to play! For young children I think that it could also be a nice game to play.
I've just finished the game and so it's a warm feedback I would say. This game was really nice since, as other people point it out, the story was quite good, the animation and the voice acting convincing and the difficulty level very reasonable but not too low. In addition, I can also understand that some people complain about the ending which occured really in an abrupt way but I think that what makes us feel this way is that we got involved in the story so well that it's difficult to come to the ending screen :( So to summarize, I really enjoyed my time in this game and so much that when the ending happened I would have liked to get even more background for some of the protagonists!
First of all I wouuld like to say that I really enjoyed to play this game because the story and the characters are great and so original compared to most other games. The game is old but thanks to the really good game design it's still a pleasure to play it and discover all the minds you can explore in this game. Sadly this game has a problem... it's level design! So during most of the game, the level design is still quite ok and not too annoying but in the last part it can become quite awfull and frustrating since you don't see were to go easily and the camera is sometimes doing bad stuff also. So be just aware that some part can be frustrating due to this bad design but except that the game is quite exceptionnal and I would really recommend you to play it since I enjoyed most of my time^^. I'm really looking forward for the realease of psychonauts 2!
This game is not bad (I would rate it three stars) but some technical problems have ruined the end of the game (a lot of lags). So just to summary my opinion: Good features: -Mouse point and click (the previous episode was action oriented) -Not so bad story -Nice puzzles Bad features: -Technical problems (at least on my PC where I've observed a lot of lags at the end)-> I've 2.13 GHZ 2 core and 4 GB RAM + 1GB graphic card -The character design is not very convincing if compaired to the first episodes (1 and 2). So I would recommend this game only for fans of the serie but not for other peoples
