    Gomo!

    Gomo may not satisfy those seeking a truly challenging and imersive point and click experience but, at least for me, it was a nice, short and rewarding time spent. Worth the cost? Yes. And maybe that might be the whole purpose of Gomo: to entertain you a little and make you laugh sometimes. The biggest plus here is to say that this may be a rewarding game for youngsters, absolutely. Pluses to the nice artistic backgrounds, likeable comedic soundtrack and cool designed characters. That's Gomo: not majestic, not too shabby either!

    Machinarium for kids

    If you have imaginative young kids, they will love this. If you buy the game for yourself, try not to ‘game’ this as a jaded grownup but as a curious child, it will make all the difference in the world. The music is perfect and the visuals are very charming. It’s a whimsical and cute game with no disturbing or violent content (except for a minor nuclear missile launch). The game takes only about 2 hours to complete, less if you have an autistic genius in the house who can instantly solve that one 3x3 sliding blocks puzzle that held me up for half an hour. Most of the rather unoriginal puzzles are contained to a single screen and everything is simple enough for elementary school kids to figure out as long as they are patient and observant enough. The very limited amount and depth of gameplay is balanced out by the quality of the presentation and overall charm. An ideal little game that can serve nicely as a stepping stone to slightly more advance titles such as Machinarium.

    Waste of money

    If you like original point and click games, pick Samorost 1, 2 and Machinarium. This "game" isn't worth a penny. It's ridiculously easy and you do basicaly nothing. Gomo does everything himself and it's not even funny. The best part about this game is the background!

    Not bad but not spectacular

    My 3 year old who's a huge fan of Samorost2 enjoyed it, but I found the puzzles to be really uninspired and unimpressive. No real replay value but nice artwork. Just needs better puzzles and storytelling. Still I got it on sale for <$2 and it was more than worth that price.

    Should be marketed to kids.

    Gomo is not an adventure game, it has a plot but no story. The game is simply a series of very simple "puzzle" screens that you have to solve to get to the next screen. I gave it 3 stars because young kids might find it fun.
