Let's be honest, we are accustomed to kill many enemies without noticing any threat. But what if there's only one on each stage? You will feel the rage, trying more and more just to handle one of his forms then try again. Death is your friend because it gives you expirience - the most valuable stuff here. There is no +5 to health or +10 to speed bonuses here, only your skill. This torment ends with final boss, or with lack of patience. It's like school but nobody praises you, only gives you more work. Are you ready to learn? If no you better find something else because nobody will teach you.
I'm not going to tell you abot poor performance of the game. The only thing I should tell you is that this game is awesome! The first part of the anthology is a pure adrenaline. The second one gives it more. If SNK made the same trick with the third part it would be just a decent game. So they found the nearest drug dealer and bought all of his weed. Soldiers? BORING! All you need is UFO, zombies, crazy bosses. No, I mean CRAZY BOSSES! The base of this game is your interest. All you do is just playing to know, how far game designers can go. And believe me, you'll be surprised! Ah, and don't forget to take your friends, because it's still fun to play!
A truly great action! I'm not into retro games, but this one satisfied my thirst for nostalgia. Great graphics, achievements, cloud saves and even multiplayer! Just get few friends and case of beer. This game makes every party. The plot is not important - all you have to do is to kill more & more & more. But despite most of the oldschool actions this one is a pure adrenaline with great music that needs to be added to your playlist! Not in mood? Start it! Can't awake? Start it! Don't know, what to play? Start it! But beware, you can like this game (:
