A rather underwhelming affair
Pre-ordering "The Coma" got me all this stuff for free, so I guess it‘s only fair to warn potential buyers that this is NOT worth the $13 pricetag. Nowhere near. First up, there is the collection of 28 wallpapers. Solid stuff, can‘t complain. Next up is arguably the weakest part of the entire Deluxe Edition: the "soundtrack". The 21 songs run for a measly 22 minutes! It isn‘t so much a soundtrack as it is a collection of 45 second BGM loops. Pretty underwhelming stuff. Also, if I were a dev, I‘d be embarrassed to charge money for the 6 forum avatars, which basically mean free PR for your game, but that's just me. The artbook is 31 pages, with very little in terms of concept art or really any kind of behind-the-scenes insights. Then there are 25 stickers with cutesy renditions of the game‘s characters at 240x240 pixels each. Not mentioned in gog‘s description are the corresponding 24 sticker wallpapers. I guess those are pretty neat, if you dig the art style. There are 7 character portraits (800x1200 in size) and a prologue comic. The latter puts up a hard fight against the soundtrack in terms of being the biggest let-down in the whole package. It‘s literally a single 1024x13271 jpeg file, featuring a total of 13 panels. Then there are 3 badges, which again are glorified, lo-res forum avatars. Lastly there is a skin pack for the protagonist. I had to literally check the gif files side by side to even spot the difference: the vigilante protagonist has a bandage on his arm and has a slightly angrier look on his face. That‘s it. I understand that developers might not wish to give away a soundtrack that the composer wants to sell on his Bandcamp for $10. But to justify a price like that, you‘ll have to offer something more substantial than 22 minutes of so-so background loops and a bunch of stuff that was probably recycled from the press kit. This upgrade pack offers precious little in terms of of actual value and I couldn‘t recommend it even to fans of the game.
