This game could be so much more! Charismatic villains, droids on the loose and chance to play them, mysteries and riddles, and a light Jedi master that would tempt you to turn to the dark side more than any dark lord could ever do. Yet, sadly, it was rushed and left me with confusion at the end. Reminding me of Mass Effect 3 experience. But nevertheless, after reading the story about the game release and that a lot of its contents was restored by modders I had to replay the game and finnally get the good impression of it. But now I have another issue with it, I desperately desire KOTOR 3. As many already said, play this game with The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod otherwise many events and dialogs in the game have no sense. -----по-русски----- У игры огромный потенциал! Харизматичные злодеи, забавные задания за дроидов, загадки и головоломки, а также один "замечательный" джедай, своим поведением способный переманить тебя на тёмную сторону гораздо лучше, чем какой-нибудь тёмный лорд. Но к сожалению игра была сделана наспех и под конец оставила меня в полном замешательстве. Напоминая о шраме оставленном "Масс Еффект 3". Однако, у знав о проблемах с выпуском игры и о том, что моддерам удалось восстановить многое из вырезанного контента, я решилась её перепройти уже с "The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod", что заметно улучшило мои впечатления от игры. Теперь передо мной стоит другая проблема - я хочу KOTOR 3! Главный вывод, замеченный многими, - игру стоит проходить с восстановленным контентом "The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod", иначе многие диалоги и события в игре не имеют никакого смыла. К сожалению, у игры нет официальной русской локализации, а на восстановленный контент и неофициальную трудно найти.
I've played this game a hundred times, starting back in 2008 (if I'm not mistaken). And to my surprise I still find something new in there. There is much put into details and it pays off. The conversations are wit and interesting. Every personage you make has own unique background and it does influence the game. Every decisions counts. And there is a very thin line between good and bad. Which makes some of the decisions hard to make, wondering if you made the right choice. And what is the right choice, anyway? It's the first game where I actually felt like being involved in the story. It's a journey worth living for.
