I don't think anyone should've expected fnv in space.. I also believe that era is dead and quite frankly setting sights on the stars is a push in the right direction. Morally the quests are black and white. Mechanically the approach is what were studying here. I feel with the skill system among other mechanics are here to be a template for a larger world. This game is fun and the companion quests have a certain depth I expected out of our beloved studio weird hate in the comments that I feel should be filter by year/playtime. onsale its worth.
I came back after a while to see what it was. it was like eating something and you know you're not opposed to it.. but theres this thing about it.. doesn't put you off but doesnt feel.. familiar. I realize it's the fact this was a console game.. Playing this with a controller does wonders but it's overall vibe felt PC RPG. It's a port but the stories not bad play with controller and add the co-op makes this feel like diablo 3 (take that as you will) Digestible.
Most people discredit this must like DarkSouls when it came out for its "broken mechanics" I've never seen such WEAK gamers. If you are incapable of being patient enough to not only learn mechanics, but to search, you'll have a bad time. If you're some smooth brain that needs a diablo clone with constant bombardment of self gratification, this is not the game for you. If you enjoy deep mechanics, lore, and a dedicated team focused on delvering a fresh breath to this LITERAL crawling genre get this.
Following the nueclar war and all that you're a small town dude set on a big man's task. are you that guy? can you find it in yourself to stop the approaching threat of another mass extinction event? or will the wasteland, with its stories, struggles and people within it, take you soul and seemingly bring apon the looming yet warranted doom? this is a culture dump of brilliant minds that warmed up on A.T.O.M. this is it. this is the scratch you've been looking for
