Good graphics and optimisation, indeed, but many of gamedesign choices, like crafting and using items in certain places only, sudden dialogue choices leading to missclicks, unabbility to see recruit's information before hiring them, little options, arguable upgrades, no recruit leveling, and so on... Are giving a not really good impression. So many things restraining player from getting real fighting improvement, like lack of worthy accessories and slots for them, unchangable skills and little information about everything... It's not "difficulty", it's game not being deep in it's mechanics.
