Super enjoyable, really unique and will likely age well as a cult classic for a very long time. Do not expect to go guns blazing from A to B, instead, think, plan, execute, reconsider and possibly experiment. This is not your ordinary first person rpg, i would actually switch it around and the emphasis is on RPG, you have so many options of navigating and problem solving situations you gotta be creative and think to try out new things, you have more options at your disposal than your tool belt of weapons and items. This game was frustrating in a very good way, after my first playthrough i had a really good idea of how i can approach general gameplay again, there is just so much you can do in this game than other games and the options are not openly apparent to you unless given a presentation, some things which seem obvious to do i didn't realize until hours into it. The level design is spectacular, its one huge detailed spacestation with multiple ways of entering different sections of it, if you enjoy detailed environments that award exploration, environmental awareness of your surroundings and planning then this game is for you. The negatives of this game i would say are certain play styles just get shit on because of the game is, there are respawning enemies in every part of the station, so my idea of investing heavily into turrets across the station to have secure areas ended up costing me because some places just insta killed turrets when i loaded the level and enemies had respawned.

Its roughly 5 hours and filled with content on a new map, the story is great aswell as its environment, this is one of those games where you will likely revisit another day just to try out different ways of going about it, wholeheartedly would recommend this dlc.
Both are great and gives you what you possibly might want, more Metro Exodus with added context to the side characters of the group, both are very excellent, Two colonels is about 2 hours and Sam's story runs upto 5 i would say, worth the price. If you have technical issues give DX11 a try.
This is an incredibly good game, big props to putting it out on GOG. It has immersive gameplay, tons of interaction with stuff in the world and on the very lovely train. Different weapons with tons of customization's The inventory system and resource managements make for very good gameplay, plan ahead! intense gunplay spooky dark sections, recharge your fleshlight before you dive deep in. I had crashes in the Caspian sea in the north west region, going to DX11 with safe mode settings got me through it, afterwards i just ran it in DX11 until the ending and it ran just fine.
Never got a chance to play the original which this is a remaster of, as its own thing its a really well done and enjoyable game and what you see is what you get, really don't have any cons, its really competently made and i continue to get this impression from THQ published games.
