I played the original EIDOS commandos on my old PCs. But I bought this port and I just can't get it to work. There's a bunch of information on so-called workarounds out there on the Internet; none has worked for me.
An impressive game, based on a TRUE historical event with truly worthwhile production values. While the system has its complexities and the game does relatively little hand-holding, you will eventually figure the system out. This game was an incredibly pleasant surprise and one of the best games of its type I've ever played.
