Mostly played on Switch, but bought on GoG to support the no-DRM releases, it's one of the best game of the genre. It's fun, fast, easy to grasp but hard to master. Don't worry if you're redoing "routes* often, that's the thing with Dead cells and it's actually a super clever design. As you'll progress, more and more area will be available, and new routes will unlock but along the way, you're knowledge about enemies will increase and as such, progressing feels smooth and rerun is rewarding! Highly recommended. Playing with a controller is actually super cool as well.

A lot of hate for this amazing free mod. Yes, you have to create a seperate instance for this mod. Yes, it does have some crash (but hey, ever played Fallout 4 before?!). It's a free fully featured DLC by the community. We should be celebrating this, not hating it. Full support to dev and GoG. Thank you.

Straight to the point: - It's worth his price (5$ on sale) - Story is good and intriguing. Nothing too fancy but still it works. - Controls are responsive and there is no delay between death (like Super Meat Boy) - Too bad that the fact that you can partially play with your mouse is not explained better - Puzzles are fairly easy, but story and bits of dialogue everywhere keeps you intrigued - Game can be done in < 5 hours easily, good if you don't have your life to spend on a game and just want to relax a bit One missed opportunity: Bloodless mode - Puzzles are easy for adults, but they could be great for young teenagers - Only thing is that it's pretty gore, and I wouldn't put a kid in front of it. - Some "slightly scary" moment but nothing too scary; except maybe an action sequence in a factory, that was the "worst" I can think of; maybe that would need to be fine tuned a bit. - That would be amazing to have a bloodless mode that doesn't contain any blood to allow a younger audience to experience this small indie title that is easy to take on, has puzzle solving and has a great story / morale ! Anyway, if you want to do something for the price of a movie ticket, this is worth your money; arguably longer and with a story probably more interesting that whatever movie is airing in your area.

Bought this game on sale, ~5$ for the base game + season pass with all three DLCs Story is great, mechanics are OK, technical execution lacks polish. It's not a bad game, it's a disappointing one - there are great ideas in there, but as a whole it doesn't really work. Still, for 5$, I had an enjoyable moment, but I wouldn't pay near the official price tags (50$ for base game, 80$ for base game + DLCs) for that. It's a great indie title, not a great AA(A) game.
