Might and Magic® 9

Awesome progression!

This episode is an awesome progression from the previous episodes. While some aspects from the series had to be sacrificed for new aspects, it retains much of the charm and adventure that was present in the previous episodes.

Might and Magic 4-5 - World of Xeen

Old but still good

The archaic and antiquated interface of this duo was unprecedented in it's time. This was one of many epic sagas that flooded the market of CRPG's. If you didn't play the game back then, the interface may be too bulky or awkward. If you're intent is to play: remember that barbarians, knights, robbers, and ninja can not learn spells. While it is preferred to have a well rounded party, having as many spell-casting characters in your party will improve your chances of game completion. Therefore, the following is recommended: Paladin (holy fighter, cleric spells) Archer (3rd rate melee, 1st rate distance, sorcerer spells) Archer Robber (to help with sneaky stuff) Cleric (cleric spells, light spells) Sorcerer (sorcerer spells, dark spells) These games prevented "speed-runs" as it was impossible to complete with characters at low experience levels. If you choose to play, be prepared for at least a hundred hours of play.
