Hogs of War

As others have said...

I used to love this game on PS1, it was unique & funny, done in a kid friendly way, AI was never the smartest ..but it was not bad, it worked & even won a few times. SADLY.. this version the AI do not move.. which has ruined the game for me, as this was such a cool game, what they have done is like getting C&C and only having nukes usable to your side & no enemy or Army Men 3D then having them all stand still & do no damage, basically... on PC this version sucks! :( i will be getting a refund as its non-playable due to missing content. P.S. if you wish to get this game, i would suggest playing the superior version which is the PS1 version as there the AI does work, this versions only usable if someone fixes the AI sadly.

Littlewood

So-far its pretty good...

In-Dev 10/06/2020 Review: The art-work is great, music is nice & it feels to be a nice lively game that any age can play. ok first things first.. my gripes with the game (thus far): 1) we are like a 'god' as we can more anything we want, including chests/bees etc which seems a little wrong as we did not place them in the first-place & aren't they there to add more challenge to where we can place things?. 2) Theirs no real story.. you wake-up & are greeted by a creepy girl who for some-reason already loves you for doing nothing but being a 'hero'? & same goes for all other NPCs (which is a little odd as they love EVERYTHING). 3) Dialogue is very limited there's no really choice other than talk or 'compliment' (which you don't see), there's no choice sub-options (give, dance-with/play hide n seek/slap/hug etc) of what to say or any witty comments or jokes that could influence the game/decisions/events. 4) the AI are 'static', they don't really move or interact with anything at all (they have no lives) which makes the world seem a tad dead & lonely 6) there needs to be an easy way to change the Music or add our own (maybe unlock-able?). 7) two player mode or online play? 8) a special 'AI/event/map/town or script builder?' for us people who bought this game in-Dev version? so we feel 'special & appreciated' & also can make our-own fully unique towns/map/world with working AI/music & sounds? that we can share to other buyers?. ======= So is the game worth the money?..... Yes!! & maybe a little more (once complete) Its a great game (so-far). I am sure it will only get better over time (like a fine wine), its also nice to help a Dev team (not just wanting money for once) and i hope they read the comments so that they can improve there game from player input.

Outlaws + A Handful of Missions (Classic, 1997)

Pretty Great Game but...

This is a Pretty great game, the video parts were done mainly good (the girl jumping off the swing made me laugh a lot but im unsure if it was meant to look that way). The game its-self plays much like the original Doom game (but this game has the option of removing in-game blood from the options menu) & the sky view is a really nice touch (you know, the clouds scrolling), the style is great, the voice acting is quite good and funny at times, character animation is done to a good standard (from what i can see). The story is great (one we have seen quite a lot but it still works). The reason i gave this a lower score than the full 5 stars.. is that the A.I in the game is buggy (i know the games old but i have to be honest), the 'bad' guys seem to bug-out a bit and can even shoot out there backs somehow + they have no path-finding so bump in-to things a lot or get stuck on walls or behind doors (which sometimes they can shoot through. enemies can shoot fast but so can you, there's no real reload-time as such as it very fast, there's two fire modes but i found the second one not really needed as i can fire like Rambo till everything is dead anyway. The game feels a little 'Unfinished' at times. the level design is not bad as such but there's not much to interact with (e.g. animals do nothing, barrels or bottles etc also do nothing even when shot they just may make a noise), there's very few civilians other than the odd few in a place (but a lot of these old games were kinda like this), the dark parts are at times over-dark to the point you can't see anything and wonder if going forward is still working, guns seem to not always have any effect from afar), game modes are kinda like: very easy (run n gun with a lot of ammo around), not quite easy (you can get 'bumped-off' quite fast) or you can get bumped off with one shot at times hard mode. Other than that, if you like Doom or similar games then you may also like this game!
