Good: Levels felt like you had to make-sure you couldn't get shot Music is decent Bad: Gameplay feels a little like 'Down Well' but a little less refined The start level with the nerd. (why can't i kill him?). just is annoying as sometimes miss-clicking gets you there again.. which you can exit via a menu.. but just .. why?.. moving between levels just feels like more of a chore than it should & there's no explanation of the keys Now.. its not a terrible game, its just not for me..

Good: Looks ok Music isn't bad Bad: Sound sounds like its canned audio Movement is like your constantly on ice at full speed Bullets don't handle to well upon hitting a target.. unless its there heads I didn't play for long as the game got boring to quickly.. there seems to be no-point in you shooting these people, your just thrown-in & attacked.. but fighting feels well.... lacklustre & un-inspired sadly Glad i didn't pay for this as although i am not a Dev i would feel embarrassed to have this associated with my name (unless i was younger than 16) as its far to basic & i haven't felt this annoyed since i tried to play the PC port of Hogs-Of-War which is another total disaster & garbage!

*Review for the PS5 game, I have not played the Pc version yet but I expect it's pretty much the same* For a Lego game this is a pretty neet one, it plays like a GTA game.. without all the "Bad Words"/Gore or other more adult material typically in GTA titles. It's child-friendly which is always a little hit or miss, but this pulls it off in a decent way (and your not bound together on two player modes on a small invisible leash (starwars), your not having to fight a stupid wonky spinny screen like other Lego games (seriously who the he** thought that was even a good idea???), your not teleported to other players. It's a free-roam (think small open-world) game, with a decent amount of things to do in it, run fly or ride totally independent of player 2. Dis-likes: Theres no 'pickup' items (no findable guns or items to look for, no hidden 'gems' like a car that's unobtainable via buying etc). Sometimes quests are rather annoying to pin-down & actually find or complete (sometimes they reset before you have even figured out what to do or where to go). The cars/vehicles seem like they are always on ice.. they skid around making the handling rather annoying. Also no-one seems to care I'm trashing there day, all the ai does is... Run away when I have blown-up there bookstore or ruined there tea/coffee store (sadly we can't totally crush shops, etc). --- I'm hoping for a DLC to enable interaction with more stuff (shops, buying or selling things (I'm looking at you coffee shop or ice-cream shops or book store, maybe a clothing store? Or a costume shop? I know I'd like a snowman outfit for clayface for xmas), using phone box, maybe an underground section under a drain-cover?, maybe a few more interactive rides or stuff to make more fun chaos, maybe more weather like snow (snowball fight anyone?).

AI Is kinda life-less and clunky. Game crashed for me many times (I'm not using an amazing rig, but I should be able to run the game even if at low settings). This game for me seems worse than P3... And that was terrible, the story is bland, not to fun and seems rushed. This game seems to be a regurt-getation of old ideas that missed the other games mixed with ideas the Devs thought would be 'fun' or 'unique'... But somehow missing the humour, the comical P2 quests where somehow getting even 'milk' ends-up making mayhem and we all know how postal dude feels about working his ass-off and still being skint.. which is what makes us relate to him.. no one likes huge queues in places just to buy something like crisps, or walking in a piss-puddle, being splashed by that total dick'ed in a car who goes through puddles, etc. I love RWS but this game is just ..janky, so.. sadly I would say pass and get P2 with the add-ons as it's more fun (and look-up the fan made mods, there awesome as always).

I played this many years ago when I found it in a box of old games, I didn't really get into the game much due to the clay like aperances that put me off sadly. I do remember punching the guy on the bridge "is that a fly?" & Punching farm animals just because I could. I remember editing levels for hours, making my own sprites etc and digging into the game code to find hilarious comments "and we call this code?".. I also remember asking the Dev if i could use his game to make my-own as I couldn't code to which the dev supprisingly said "feel free to modify the code but don't sell the game it has to be freeware" which was awesome. I never did make a modified game, however I did edit a lot of the games code to do as I wanted (guy on the bridge killable and a few things I can't remember) but it was cool as a kid to be able to edit a working game. Maybe I will give this game another go...

Since my first PC way-back my first game was doom (floppy disk version) from then on i owned (and still do own) doom on nearly every console i could get it for.. i was hooked (but didn't know it). 1993 doom dropped & at-that-time the game was pretty epic.... and if you look-around, the game is still EPIC thanks to all the modders out there that never gave-up on this legendary game! Theres anything from normal doom, to pirates, Lego, batman, and even.... resident evil (thanks to the legendary Christian and team at Doomero inc).

Not really a game, just click.. click click ..click, more of a slideshow that's boring (and could of been done on PowerPoint or flash by a 8 year-old to better effect), whilst trying to be a story that is GAY... basically its like watching paint-dry with gay overtones (your white walls will somehow turn slightly pink and get darker as they dry.. till you need it redone).. not really a game (pong and breakthrough were games.. i don't call clicking a game (its more of a chore).. unless your 13- and/or have no real concept of decent games). Not my cuppa-tea, people being who they are is fine (just don't force push-it my-way) .. but this is not a game its just clicking in all honesty (if a movie was all clicking it would not be classed as a movie).

Charging for a few pictures for a game is kinda a totally dumb move.. expecialy if they don't really do anything. I bought this just to complete my collection so the 39p price was ok even if the extra content is just a few pictures and ateast it's not like some companies who charge the earth for nothing. I remember years ago making my own pictures and voices for all the characters, I even made new dungeon items, new enemies (with animations) and even TNT barrels... no idea if I stil have them but it was fun to change parts and see things work as a kid.

Good: - Charming little environment. - very colorful & eye-catching - voxel world (who doesn't like voxels?) Bad: - far to simple character designer, there's no real guys hair, there's not much real choice in clothing at all & i don't think we can craft any?. - no voices, if the player is to young to read... this is an issue as the game seems aimed at kids, but without voices its kinda a reading fest, also there's no character voice choices. - controls are like moving a tank at times. - AI, they just bump into stuff, stand still or hover and seem sort-of lifeless other than that. - I have not seen any wild animals in the game.. i have only seen bugs (and yeah you have to be up close to catch them or "you need a bug net to catch this" shows even when your holding the net). - Music.. the music is nice, light and adventure like... yet after a few moments.. it stops, like fully stops.. your left walking in silence till another track plays which is just annoying, ether include music or don't. - The game seems like it should be rather fun, but it wants to be harvest-moon without interaction/direction or some sort of 'flow'. its like Stardew Valley.. without much other than plant stuff and walk around n wait. - Theres a serious lack of interaction, nearly all items (other than taps/toilets/wardrobe and beds) can't be used other than just placed or smashed, id love to use the PC or be able to run code on it (like minecraft Pi Edition can or that mod someone made) or at-least use draws for stuff, lights?, boats?.. etc and how-come bugs don't even evade or run/move at all??. - Nothing on the map is labeled so finding places is just awkward & yeah, you loose 'petals' if you teleport 'home'. - Iv not seen any 'events' yet or anything majorly fun to find/do/mysteries/chaos/fights/love/hate/backstory/enchantment/trickery/magic/AI Life/etc so its sort-of minecraft without enemies or appeal & wheres the story-line?.. how did we somehow end-up in a ruined house???.

Many years ago I only had my I386 (think it was a 333 not even a dual-core, this beast even had a 'turbo' button that slowed it down.. I know right?) Win3.1 and DOS with GUI (think I also had win95 but I didn't use it a lot other than for CDs) I had just completed a game called 'kens labrynth' that I was given and remember finding the floppy disk of the 'shareware' version of this in my dad's desk and wondering to myself what on earth 'ROTT' meant & why was it spelt wrong?!.. After booting it up.. I was instantly hooked, the music, the gore, the silly sounds "Hay!" "AA AA UGGH" and good music..sadly shareware meant 'demo' so it had a lot of levels missing and other bits, after pestering my dad (he was not to impressed) it turned-out he had the original CD and full set of floppy disks for it (which included pictures of the Dev team, and other nifty bits I think) and so.. I was finally able to complete the full game. I did try playing online (excalibat or dog mode anyone?).. but dial-up was not really fun especially when someone needed the phone lol. I remember the good days of trying to mod the game art to add my own stuff and sounds & finding the woman sound clips I intended on using.. but never really got far as my pc died. There were also extra levels on the cd I think called 'Rejected' or something but I never tried them as I couldn't read well. To me this is the ONLY version worthy of still being played, the 2013 version was a sad, watered-down, imitation that was just not as fun or even as well thought-out. Graphics may not now-days be seen as amazing and people may complain.. but I still like the gameplay despite the graphics and there are mods out there. This maybe a rehash/mod/alternative version of wolf3D but it is still a great game and despite the level tools restrictions the Devs did do a great job making the rooms. This is how we like our games Apogee (3D Realms, Ken Silverman etc), games that shatter teeth with more than just a name!
