I haven't played a Serious Sam game since the HD releases, but I have been thoroughly enjoying Serious Sam 4. The shooting is both fast-paced and impactful, making all of the numerous fights per stage fun and thrilling. It's been a while since strafing has been integral to making it through each battle alive. Each stage is littered with banter and one-liners between Sam and his team. Most of it is pretty bad, but a few standouts include Father Mikhail. The secrets are also fun to find and some add unexpected twists and challenges that defintely surprised me.
