Sovereign Syndicate

Excellent

This is a great game. The lore, the characters, the dialogue system, the soundtrack and the art is top notch. I'm completely sold on this IP and i would love to return to this world in another game. See you going for another playthrough right now!

GRIS

I don't think so

Please ignore the h@lf-w1ts that say this is a ''relaxing'' game. This is anything but. I give 2 stars for the visual and audio aspect of the game as well as for the symbolism throughout. Believe me i'm going through actual grief in my life and honestly...i don't want to add extra. Solving puzzles is not my idea of working through issues. The puzzles are not light. They are regular puzzles. And platforming. Plus you have to go look for the keyboard controls because the game assumes you have an xbox controller idk. Don't believe the romantics around here. It's not worth the trouble. Last time i'm buying a game for this reason. Refunded.

Before Your Eyes

Just no..

This game basically wants me to move to another place in order to be able to play it. The requirements are ridiculous including a room filled with light in your face (therefore ruining the gaming vibe and making your eyes water) and sitting half a meter away from your desk so the camera can get most of you. Just no. Unplayable and not worth the trouble of calibrating the camera. I'm refunding this immediatelly.

Oxenfree

Excellent

I just finished this. It was sitting in my library for a long time until i watched one of my favorite content creators play the second game so i decided to give it a go. It's just amazing the art style the music etc. Very unique game. I finished this in 2 sittings and now i want to play the second game and support this studio any way possible. Give it a go if you like mysteries and good movie/novel-like stories.

Nightmare Reaper

5 stars!

Ok i have to say i don't review games often but this needs to be said. I'm not so much a fan of looter shooters or roguelites either i may play one now and then. This game reminded me of my childhood playing Duke Nukem with my friends over LAN. It's like the devs took all the things i liked as a child (from every game i ever played) and put them in this game. It's extremely fun and addicting, great sound and music, dark and also a bit of a horror element there all well put together. There are a lot of mini-games you can play as well that are basically ability trees which are also fun to play to unlock and add more power to the main character. As you progress you can also unlock various arena type missions and progress the plot of the game as well. And if the rng favors you you might get a weapon that can save your ass till the end (i believe this happened to me!) Buy this even if you are not a fan of either roguelites or looter shooters!

Wanderlust: Transsiberian

Yeah no

It makes sense why The Witcher games suck now and yeah no. The life of the Untermensch isn't interesting. Always be the hero in real life and in digital life. First review of a ''game'' and i pick this. GOG has a pop-up window telling me how to review. No thanks! Instead how about you fix GOG Galaxy a bit? Your community is dead. Or maybe learn how to publish a full product with no bugs?

STAR WARS™ Battlefront™ II (Classic, 2005)

Suffering from MNS

Oh boy. So. Going on a SW binge lately i got a few games during the recent sale. I was not always a SW enthusiast so i missed a few things. This games is suffering from severe MNS aka ''ma nostalgia'' syndrome so PLEASE don't believe all these reviews about it being better than EA Battlefront. It's not. Your eyes are going to bleed with this one and everything feels like it is made of plastic. I'll give it a few points for being authentic compared to the modern battlefront II and it's faggoty dilluted new ''heroes and villains''. It also has a few maps to explore but generally i don't see myself playing a lot of this game. I like the heroes system in this game but there's not much else to keep me here. 3 stars for authenticity. Go play the modern Battlefront 1 game and then never pay EA again lol.

Torment: Tides of Numenera - Immortal Edition

A beautiful journey

I think it's time to review this game properly. The matter of the fact is that i am a follower of Planescape Torment and the rest of the classic CRPG's for quite a few years. Numenera is really a story about a man looking for immortality in a mysterious world were empires have risen and fallen for many years. This is Earth in the future. But this journey is really an inner one. While Planescape was philosophical Numenera is more psychedelic and more nuanced. While Planescape was aiming at the external (as philosophy does) Numenera looks at the inner world. At first i did hate the game due to the unfamiliarity of this new world but when it slowly dawned on me that this game works as a metaphor for life really (including it's ''morality'' system) i really begun to like exploring it's weird sci-fantasy world. I also like the crisis system and thing it can be used and improved in a later title perhaps. The game is the descendant of Planescape Torment though quite different. I think the mission of the developers to bring this about is achieved.

Torment: Tides of Numenera

Not a good experience

This game does not live up to the hype. If you seriously consider the time it took to develop and the budget they had you have to ask yourself. Where exactly this money go? The game is *very* short and underdeveloped and also very buggy. Wth did they actually do all this time? It will probably fade go where it belongs. Fade into obscurity like it's predecessor. Don't spend money on this.
