For one all the fmv sequences are out of sync with the audio. When I say out of sync, I meant a 5+ second lag between the video on the screen and the audio. Considering how many scenes are rendered through the video sequences this gets annoying really fast. The acting is actually pretty decent and the story while predictable is interesting enough. The music and atmosphere is pretty solid. The puzzles are logical and for the most part fun to solve (and i mean FOR THE MOST PART) The game pretty much grinds to a halt once to get to the missile silo puzzle near the end of the game. This puzzle is just broken and makes a game that was easy game up to this point become a frustrating nightmare. Apparently in this universe Maryland is located just below Germany for some reason despite the fact that North America is entirely intact. Its illogical pixel hunting at its worst with a hard time limit so you can't even really get acclimated with the puzzles bizarre geography. This was the straw that broke the camels back for me. The first two thirds of this game were enjoyable despite the technical flaws but the final big puzzle is just a big poorly programmed f-you to the face. Only purchase this game if your a die-hard fan of the series. Everyone else, stay far away.
