Great story from Baldur's Gate family, maybe the most original and most interesting ever. Great gameplay from Baldur's Gate engine in its best years. Nice graphics which works just fine 10 years later. Deep dialogues, choices depending on your character development, multiple endings... Real gem between the RPGs
Comparing to M&M7 and M&M8. Those two were without bugs completely. This one is one big bug. Too bad 3DO bankrupted during production. Those two had old graphics, but excelent gameplay, which made you forget about it. This one has the same (or even worse!) graphics, but completely reworked UI & gameplay, which totally ruined it. M&M7 is my favourite RPG, this one... well, I regret paying for it.
15 years later, there still is no real competition to Caesar 3, the best managerial strategy ever. The only not-so-good part of this game is the warfare, but you can avoid it completely in the peaceful missions. Difficulty is sometimes a bit high, some of you may even use the money cheat, but it's kinda ok, you still have to work hard to win every single mission. I install and play this game once a year or two, over and over again and still enjoy it a lot.
Second best game in the series. The very same engine and skill system we know from MM7, but with some new classes - you can play as a necromancer, minotaur, and even as a dragon. And new story, of course. Bigger, greater, but not as good as the previous one, sorry.
Well, this RPG jewel is simply the very best in the series, and is suprisingly very playable even now, in 2013. I completed this game 4 times in last 10 years, and I believe that in a year or two I will try it again. Even the old-time graphics isn't that bad, it still works fine.
I wish they would still make RPGs like this one. - large diverse world - fantasy with sci-fi background - original story, which works alone just fine, but even better, if you played older M&M or Heroes of M&M games. - 50+ hours of gameplay - graphics, which doesn't suck after all those years :-)
