It crashes on me once in a while, especially if I need to alt-tab. And I mean a hard crash where I needed to reboot my computer. Other than that, it's the same great game it always was. I hear this does not have the multiplayer component but.. Does anyone care about that?
I'm not a fan of the cartoon art style. The AI is pretty dumb. Get in a fight with a ship, get some distance between them and they will completely forget about you so you can get up close for a heavy blow. Your inability to leave your ship to do things like dig up treasure is kinda sad. I think it's worth a purchase if you catch it on sale. + Music + Controls + Procedural Generation + Ship to ship combat is fun - Art style - Cannot leave your ship - AI has the memory of a goldfish
My virus software would not allow me to install the game. In the forum I saw a post about the game possibly having "PUP.SuperCool" which is adware. I sent in a refund request.
Everything is here for a great game but it is merely pretty darn good. Gaming would need another generation to nail the open world city that feels more alive. The cars feel nice, but not quite as good as the best of them. The girlfriends make silly dance videos for you to earn. But hey, I got it on sale for less than a dollar. So the value is great! Be sure to get the widescreen patch for it.
I had it on Steam but I got it here so I could own it.
