You cannot remap Shift for Sprint or Ctrl for Crouch. The excuse of the developers is that those are modifier keys and therefore cannot be used for other functions. That is not an excuse but a K.O. criterion, as it affects accessibility. Look how Star Citizen can do it.
The game looks nice and cards are designed well and also the gameplay during battles is fun, but the game doesn't telegraph enough information how good you play or where in the game you're at. Heros apparently only have 11 levels and runs only have 3 acts, but this is nowhere explained and therefore the log screen looks buggy because it doesn't log any of that unless you already beat the whole game once. So until you beat the game you don't know where you're at. I had expected to at least keep the map reveal or at least keep information which map I finished, but the only thing you keep are skills. No progress history.
The Alpha Demo had highly detailed detailed pixelart User Interface similar like the original Project Warlock 1, but now Project Warlock 2 version 1.0.0.0 menus look just cobbled together soullessly with just a few texts only. I hope the great pixelart user interface will be added back in a post launch patch - until then 1 star only.
I just finished Punch Club 2 Fast Forward... no spoilers, but now I want Punch Club 3 ... GOG hear me! Punch Club 1 was a solid planner game, but Punch Club 2 was a rollercoaster of twists. First I thought WTF? and then the further you progress, the more funny it gets with the story. Totally underappreciated game. and it's totally a game for 80s/90s/00s movie-buffs
This game is clearly not a PC game as controls like the ENTER key or INS and PGUP cannot be rebound to other keys, but are used quite frequently, Then the UI control using the mouse feels utterly complicated even compared to older PC RPG titles. The German translation is probably done with a bad auto-translate or an unskilled translator, as the grammar is incorrect sometimes up to a level where the meaning is lost. This game could have been a nice game, but it's a total desaster.
