This feels like a throw back to the era of RTS legends, the game is not perfect but it is its own thing and manages to be a damn good thing at that. Infantry and Mech combos are super fun!
Fantastic Story
A dear childhood memory that has kept its magic, it misses a lot of quality of life improvments that the genre has achieved over the years but both characters and writing in general are execellent and make it worth while.
I must say I am sad to give this game only 2 stars. I bought the game and started it up and found myself really enjoying both the start and the beginning of the game, glad that I had made a good purchase I then closed the game to do other things and this is where the problem begins. After returning to continue my game I found that the loading screen before the menu would just keep going. Having left the game on for half and hour just to make sure the problem wasnt just the game being slow to load which by no means would have been the end of the world for me I then tried to get help by submitting a report to the bug forum hoping that either a developer or other player would be able to help me, that was in may and no one has even bothered to reply to me in that time. So to summerize I really loved the idea of building up the town and recruiting people to your party and having a good story but due to a game breaking bug that I cant fix I will never be able to actually play and enjoy the game and can therefore not recommend it either which is a shame because I would like to seem more games of this type being made.
