FlatOut

Part one does not forgive

This game is simply legendary, despite its continuation this one doesn't forgive. You have to drive perfectly as opponents won't slow down when you crash. Bit frustrating sometimes but so challenging! If you have enough racing - there are many cool stunts with absolutely the best addicting high jump, you can easily earn some money there and upgrade your car. Handling is bit strange but comes with interesting camera work that gives you unique feeling of speed, especially with nitro on. As a cherry on the cake we get set of awesome music tracks boosting gameplay feelings from the very first run. On a promo - absolutely must have!

FlatOut 2

Symphony of destruction

Flatout 2 is not a demanding game, I found it significally easier than first one and it's absolutely ok Bugbear did it this way! You can really relax playing this title and focus on pure wreck and destruction of everything around. No need to fear flying through the window by each scratch like before, you won't get stuck that easily too, maps are designed to encourage you to keep top speed and even nitro it up in front of obstacles, especially opponents. :) Just like in first game there are many interesting stunts but highjump is totaly screwed in my opinion. Last but not least - music, ah, that's just symbol of this series, track list is even better than used previously, fits perfectly to dynamic gameplay. Worth way more than silly 2$ they want for it on promo. You won't regret it!

Carmageddon TDR 2000

The worst Carma with wasted potential

You have to play this game only to know how good other Carmageddons are compared to it. However, if you don't know other ones this shouldn't be complete crap. This game had nice graphic, many car models and interesting maps, unfortunately gameplay is rather painful and burried this game in disgrace. It's free now and I think it's proper price for this game. Not that bad that you should get paid for playing it but also not worth a penny. :P

Carmageddon: Max Damage

Decent remake of the game from my youth

Finally we got the game that can proudly be named C3. Yeah, many things could be done in other way, many things could be better, but who really cares? We have great remake of C1 little mixed with C2 and huge load of new types of races and pups here. IMHO it's actually better than I expected and I regret no single dollar spent on kickstarted to get it done. Gameplay is just like old good Carmageddon from 90' and this is the most important thing you have to know. Hard to say how new generation gonna rate Carmageddon: Max Damage but for those who remember slaughtering football players, cows and hazardous factory workers even first map gonna bring tear in their eyes. Theres one serious, huge disadvantage of game performance - loading times. Way too long to run it if you have 15 miutes of free time and want fast relax in death race. That's why I'll more likely stay with my favourite C2 and Airpain 3 stage while I can turn it on in few seconds. Also I noticed that icy map runs significally slower than other ones, it must be poorly optimized compared to them. Well, now I'm waiting for some serious remake of Carmageddon 2, it had some interesting levels too I would like to see revamped. Is there any hope? Uh, oh, just take my bucks and do it!

Bio Menace

This can't be real!

You won't even believe that I've been looking for this game for like 20 years. Used to play it on DOS in mid 90' but then I lost my precious floppy disk with it. Probably I couldn't even read back then and that's why I didn't remember the name of this game. Now I'm getting it for free on GOG, this is definitely one of the best christmas presents I could ever get. Thanks GOG! PS. I guess that you already found what I think about Bio Menace - extraordinary brilliant! The game that started my gaming experience. Absolutely must-play, the best in its genre! Cheers!

Carmageddon Max Pack

20 years on track

I've been playing this serie for over 20 years already, it's the only game I play regulary all this time. Never got bored. There's something special in Carmageddon, real childhood experience everytime I turn it on. Awesome, brave twisted rules of "races", dark humour, satisfying damage model... If you had fun 2 decades ago - you won't regret buying this one and bringing back good memories. Honestly I prefer to play without 3dfx and with rather medium/low settings, reminds me good old times even more. ;)

Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now

Most satisfying damage model ever made!

I started my journey with Carmageddon from sequel and for me it's absolutely the best part ever created, mostly due to awesome physic and damage model implemented. Not that it's so realistic, but it's really satisfying, never seen anything like this anymore. Playability of this game still impress me despite so much time has passed. There is a problem with soundtrack in GOG version on W10 unfortunately... Iron Maiden as a background to such game was a brilliant choice. Hope they gonna patch it somehow.
