WOW! You can choose Quintessence characters in this tool! Is this hint for the future? There's still a chance? I believe, and I'm waiting!

Impostor Factory: The Screw-It-Just-Gimme-Everything Bundle

Kan took safe path this time

Definitely not hardcore tearjerker like previous parts but maybe it's just me as this one seems much more family-concerned. In Kan situation it's kinda understandable and I admire his artistic creation anyway. Don't wanna spoil too much but everyone should know that there's almost no Neil and Eva this time. I really miss their humorous chats and funny argues, this is what gave emotional roller-coaster when mixed with sad dying patients stories. Ricebot is nice and does what it can to make us smile but cmon, this duet is irreplaceable! At least we get some of them in comic book in "Screw-It-Just-Gimme-Everything Bundle" so it's worth getting, especially that it also contains complete sountrack! I hope we can expect next parts of "To the moon" series in the future, door seems to stay open and old formula can be recycled virtually endlessly. Just don't let us gogers wait for DRM-free relase so long next time! 3 weeks were a torture but I remained loyal. :) And for those complaining at "gameplay". Well, it's nothing new that Freebird Games develops more animated novels than real games. This is what we expect from them, not every game must be about shooting or racing. This one is purely plot-driven and I like this style as it lets me read dialogues in my own pace listening to great piano soundtrack in the background. Also take into consideration that even on day-one relase price is insanely low, so it's not a scam or cashgrab. In a price of cinema ticket u get... well kind of movie. It's fair. :) But if you never played Freebird games an can afford just one "ticket" - choose To the moon or Finding Paradise for now. And when it comes to bundled extras - definitely worth additional penny! Not only you get comic book with our favourite characters but also this comic is fully translated to many languages! Its creators definitely put lots of efforts and love in it. Moveover - you have full soundtrack here, almost 2 hours of music in 61 tracks. In mp3 not flac but 320kbps!

Populous™: The Beginning

Love it despite it's not my genre at all

RTS games are not my cup of tea, however this one has such awesome magic and climate that instantly made me love it. I think that at first I got along with Populous 3 in some demo version from PC Gambler magazine in 90', few years later encountered box version in classic collection promo. Instabought and just like in demo - totally sinked in gameplay. What is so special about Populous The Beginning is feeling of power and freedom, every "planet" may be finished in so many ways that everyone should find something fitting their own style. For me it's focusing on shaman and her fast spell regeneration by regular citizens protected by self-made heaps of land and then massive magic attack of hostile village. Whole geomorph concept there deserves separate description. Game let's you do literally everything with landscape and proper use of spells responsible for it may be a real game changer, not only spells matter but exact place of using them, the higher you are, the bigger radius you get. Joining mountain peaks together, placing towers with fireshooters on it to protect your ground and preparing army for battle on safe (for a while) side, wow, it's just awesome and contains even arcade elements. What's annoying is AI of your units, sometimes they just walk around senselessly or stan still with hands up waiting for death, but here's arcade element - sometimes units can't find patch to, for example, climb a mountain, but if you show them way slowly and in small parts - then they get there! Sometimes annoying but very satisfying at once, especially when you get to the top before enemy and then take advantage of enhanted radius. Of course when I saw it on GOG I also instantly bought it as ancient one has some colour problem in the menu on newer operating systems and well, my newest pc doesn't even have CD anymore. :P Thx GOG!

Blade Runner

Coolstory about this legendary game

Believe me or not, but I tried to buy this game as a child ordering it by phone from some gaming magazine ad. It never arrived. I was so sad about it and never had a chance to obtain it from legal source anymore. GOG once again gave us great xmass present adding this game to their store. Good work GOG! Such legends should not be forgotten.

HuniePop

Pleasant game with one annoying flaw

I didn't expect much from this game but it turned out to be great mix of puzzle matching, anime and dating sim. It's all plain simple and relaxing to play, but one things made me stop and I can't get through it... It's number of slots in your inventory. Way too small to collect all items, game forces me to threw away some of them to make space for new ones. No, sorry. I just don't like such choices. I'm just like that. :P If they won't patch it to make inventory bigger - I REFUSE to play! Anyway had lots of fun till I ran out of free space, definitely worth buying on sale. Oh, one more thing - voice acting is just great, really, didn't expect it to be done this way, other games of this type usually stop on just text and some royalty free melody in the background. Devs really put lots of efforts into keeping proper quality of this product. It's not one of these scam-games based of few naked pics.

Brutal Legend

Treat it more like long nostalgia memory

As for a game I would give it one less star. Gameplay has its flaws, sure, especially RTS part was kinda chaotic... Or maybe it's just me, because such genre isn't my cup of tea? Anyway, despite lacking jump button and getting stuck in few places playing BL was a pure pleasure. What's worth mentioning? Huge licensed music base to listen in your car when roaming around greatly designed areas looking like right from Iron Maiden CDs covers. Moreover - short but nice story starred by many metal legends. Sometimes it felt like they push too much about "what true metal is", especially in the beginning, but as a whole game doesn't discriminate anyone, even this "joke" track from the start finds it place in mouth of metal. ;) I would say this game is like metal history and culture in a pill, enjoy it as an art and nostalgia generator, gaming part isn't the most important there, even if it's pretty decent overall. Description seems not to mention it but it's GOTY edition of the game with all dlcs possible, even these avaiable only for preorders long time ago (as I checked on wiki). It really makes this gem shiny!
