A must buy game!

Actual game play consists of bullet hell and grid based tactics. You play these game modes to get the currency needed to get the adult content. You play the actual main quest to get waifus and different game modes. You also have side quests in order to get the drops used improve the mantics used in the tactics game. There are also drops used to improve the waifu’s disposition toward you and different art assets that can be viewed in the captain’s quarters. The wifu’s disposition toward you is improved via drops gained from playing the game. As well as playing the game modes with her. As her disposition/level improves, you gain access to hair styles, clothing, poses, audio files, pics and devotion quests. The storyline itself is engaging, funny and fully voiced. The voice actors and actresses all do an amazing job. The music is top notch. The graphics are wonderful with 4k cut scenes. If your computer is not up to snuff to handle 4k, that option can be disabled and you can view the cut scenes as normal. The game play itself is challenging enough to be fun, but not punishing. If you find the game play sections to tough, they can also be skipped after three tries with no negative consequences. Everyone has different tastes in the adult content they like. Without getting to graphic on this review…there is something here for you that you will absolutely enjoy. You will get plenty of the currency needed to get the adult content while playing the game. So, even if you get something you don’t like on accident, don’t fret, there is a waifu and a scene for you just waiting behind the next button click. I’m giving this game 5 stars. I enjoyed the living heck out of this game. Even without the adult content, this game was awesome. With the adult content, there are some really nice breaks to have in between gaming sessions. Just don't click on the stuff you don’t want. I very much want some DLC, a soundtrack, wallpapers and other items I can actually pay for. I literally want studio FOW to take my money for more of this type of content. Probably next month for a Christmas gift to someone living in a country that can’t buy this game, I’ll see about gifting a copy just to support this game and the studio behind it. Cheers mate!

Fran Bow

Good game

This game has wonderful art and animation. A great atmosphere. A very fitting and mood setting soundtrack. A has a dark vibe and story about it. Judged on those traits...5 stars. But, a puzzle game lives and dies, in my mind, by the puzzles in the game. One of the big things I hate about some puzzles games is just taking everything in your inventory and rubbing it against everything else in your inventory. Then taking that, and rubbing it against everything in the game that can be interacted with. That is not a puzzle that is poor puzzle game design. A couple of examples you will run into early in the game: December17= July25= With this example you get a 4 digit code from the clues. A opposed to... Rub baking powder on a talking frog so that it grows puffy and spongy like a cinnamon roll so it can swim you off an island. Figure it out by rubbing stuff in your inventory on everything in the game. One engages the mind...the other grinds my gears. So, is Fran Bow a good puzzle game you should buy? Sure. Just understand you will have to rub it out a few times. And because of this, it goes from a 5 star game down to 4 stars. Have a nice day.

Dungeons 3

A really good game

Other people have said it better than me. The short version, Warcraft III RTS elements with War for the Overworld or Dungeon Keeper 2 dungeon management. It has quirky humor, a light hearted tone and is a heck of a lot of fun to play. The DLC has some difficulty spikes. To wit, some of the DLC doesn't rate as 5 stars. But you will be very happy with the base game. Enjoy.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

Not a game for me.

There is a real gem of a game here. But it is what I would classify as scattered. You start in a level 1 zone to explore and find a level 6 bear that kicks your head in. You go to a level 5 zone to find level 30 quests. There are Gwent (an in game card game) players in game that you find relatively early on but have no way to actually win against until you manage to find cards way later in the game. You are a master monster hunter and will have no problem killing wolves in one area. Just to run into the same type of wolves in the next area with with skulls over their heads and no way for you to feasibly win a fight against them. Others have described this as an open world RPG where you are supposed to retread old ground once you have gained XP. This to me, is an unorganized mess. To me, it is a disincentive for any kind of exploration. An integral part of getting said XP. When you do explore, you'll also run into areas that you can't actually interact with due to them being part of a future quest. You'll also track one quest and then get cut scenes for quests you have, but haven't been paying attention to. The combat system is nice if you have twitch reflexes. Character skills and abilities have way to much room for bloat and worthless items to put skill points into. Some systems, are not fully explained. Like I get alcohol is used to renew my potions. Is the same alcohol doing the bombs? How much alcohol is being used? What kind? Gear is also very scattered. There is so much bloat in regards to swords, armor, upgrades. You will have one sword that is crap, that looks exactly the same as the sword that has +100 damage. But you won't be able to readily see it. In addition there are only about a billion different types of items. Crafting is also a big part of this game. You will be very under geared very fast if you don't keep up. Good luck finding the items you need, in the quantities you need in addition do a blacksmith or armor smith of the required skill you need. Plan on retreading the same places over and over again. I wanted to like this game. I like the Witcher 1. I even liked the Witcher 2 even if the combat was absolute hot garbage. I love the atmosphere. Combat has really improved since the Witcher 2 and you can do sword or magic. But both have their separate issues. There is going to be what I would classify as twitch combat on one, while the other you do nothing but dodge around while your stamina regenerates. I don't know how to describe it. There is an absolute gem of a game in here somewhere. And maybe with the right mods, I would really get into it. But I just can't. This game is a exercise in frustration for me. I want to love it. I can see the good it. Let me add some of the good things. The atmosphere is a grim dark dream come true. This is mid dark fantasy at it's finest. The voice acting is top notch. The grey moral choices that you have to make also add to the feel of the world as a whole. It is a good game. I can see the absolute diamond in the rough, so I will give it 3 stars. It's just not a good game for me.

Dungeons 2

Fun Easy Going Game

This game is a mix of Warcraft III RTS and War for the Overworld management. You build your underground dungeon and manage it while fending off heroes. Then you send your minions to the surface where you engage in RTS battles against the heroes on their home turf. Neither the management nor the RTS is particularly challenging, but it is very entertaining. The art is very stylized, you have parody humor and what I would classify as easy going game play. It is a game that is not there to push you to your limits and challenge, it is there to entertain, and it does it wonderfully. If you are a fan of this style of humor, I would say that this is a definite pick up. You can enjoy this game and actually get through it without having to be an RTS or management pro. If you don't enjoy the humor or are looking for something that is a lot tougher probably a different game is for you. If you enjoy the humor but want tougher, pick up the "A Game of Winter" DLC. In any case, I had a lot of fun with this game and recommend it.

Dungeons 2: A Game of Winter

Nice Conclusion but Very Difficult

This DLC is a nice conclusion to the main game and sets up Dungeons 3. It also follows the main game in style and humor. The big difference is that you play as the undead and there is an extreme difficulty spike. With 5 being a median difficulty the main game is around 3.5 to 4. This DLC ramps the difficulty up from 5 to 6 to 9 within the span of a few missions. The difficulty spike comes in a couple of forms. The first is that there are certain parts of the dungeon that if you dig into it to early, you will have unlimited spawns coming at you before you are prepared to deal with it...game over. Missions that require a lot of RTS speed and micro managing to prevent a cascading effect where you will eventually be overwhelmed by unlimited waves coming at you, just wearing you down through attrition....game over. If you are very good at micromanaging at speed and are pro RTS, this is probably fine for you. I had to use cheats to get through a few missions. With all this said, I do give it 4 stars, as I was allowed to cheat to get through and it is just a plain fun game. If you like a mix of Warcraft III RTS and War for the Overworld management, you will like this game.
