Samorost 3 Cosmic Edition

The Exception to the Rule

Point and Click and adventures are, in my book, bad games. This game is one of the like, 4ish exceptions to this rule. Anyone one interested in the genre needs to take notes from this game. Charming, clever, good mechanics for puzzle solving, and not annoying!

E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy - Single-Player Edition

60hrs on steam

MandaloreGaming review on youtube, go there for a sales pitch. devs also made Necromunda Hired Gun, is fun janky times. Streumon is genuine in everything for better or worse, and their stuffs is always at the very least interesting, and pretty much everything they make is fun.

You'd have to be 9 to like this

Seriously, it's a waste of time and money.

THIEF: Definitive Edition

I...wha-...how do people like this?!

It's terrible in almost every way except for surface level aesthetics, but then only at a glance because it does hinder gameplay and design. It's just, just watch StratEdgy and their video on this or watch LoadingReadyLive and Alex Stacey playing it then like a year or two later revisits it with Cameron Lauder on Talking Simulator and they give like a 3 hour in depth dissection of how this cynical waste of developer effort is just horrid in every way possible. I'm seeing reviews be like "Dont compare this to thief or dishonored!" so uh, I guess don't compare this to quality high effort stealth games. Even comparing it to other games like MGSV or Styx or Deus Ex or Shadow Tactics Blades of the Shogun or System Shock or Prey or Arx Fatalus or DUSK or Bannerlord or STALKER or Sekiro or you get the point. This game sucks and the only way these people can justify it existing is if they pretend it is inside of a vacuum and that no other games are available. Just, just stay away from this, it can only be a waste of your money, you would be better off buying a game you already own again so that the money at least ideally goes somewhere of value.

Mirror's Edge™

Got slightly elevated after Catalyst

Uh, it good. Story is not, it not worth your time. However, it is less intellectually offensive than Catalyst's tripe and condescending cliches. Now, it kinda a mess. Don't alt tab from fullscreen unless on main menu because chance to freeze computer. Turn off PhysX because it do bad (framerate struggles). But uh, you interested in a parkour game? This is the best one out there. Dying Light doesn't have much replayability and, for me, felt too much like Uncharted junk. Catalyst has open world! That'll be gre- nope. Catalyst is your typical...well it's an EA Ubisoft sorta "Open World", meaning it's low effort outside of visuals and not engaging. Just, go look up YT videos on Catalyst open world stuff, or other Catalyst stuff for more info. If you want parkour, then as far as I know this is kinda the only game that gets close to feeling like actual parkour while also being not bland or bad.

No Man's Sky

Meh

I own the game on Steam, Have checked up on it from time to time. Currently, the game is repetitive. A lot of old reviews, while other people say otherwise, will actually probably still be pretty accurate. It's not bad, it's boring, which is maybe worse. There still isn't much planet variation, organisms are still copy pasted stuff, there is 0 characterization of any of the "factions", it's basically just a bad crafting space game. I'd say worth about $20 (US), unfortunately never goes on sale for more than 50% off.
