Thank you so so so so much GOG! This game is one of my favorite shooters. Graphically beautiful, it was the first game that actually payed to plan out your method of attack. Ambushing convoys, taking out guard posts, finding diamonds, repairing weapons, its all here. And for $10 with no DRM, its too good to pass up. THANK YOU GOG!
This is one of those classics that will never die. I think it stands among UT99 and Doom as one of the greats of gaming. The AI is responsive, making the game difficult, and the plethora of ways to complete missions adds another layer of depth. Go Rambo style, or take a sniper and a machete for a ninja approach. Its your call.
This is definitely on my top ten list of fps games. The only games I have ever played that topped it are Unreal Tournament GOTY, Half Life 1, and Portal. The vast amount of mods and third party content is astounding, if you buy this game you will NEVER get bored. Find the rocket launcher boring? Theres a mod that makes it shoot lasers. Tired of the vehicles? Theres a mod that places a gatling gun missile bike. Any one who calls themselves a gamer should play this game because there is nothing more satisfying than hearing the announcer shout 'GODLIKE' after your kill streak.
